Inside

Inside mount blinds will fit within the window casing for a clean, custom look.  Enter the actual size of your window casing, NOT the size of your old blind.  We will make the necessary deductions to make the blind fit properly.  Make sure your window meets the minimum inside mount specifications, or flush mount specifications if desired.

Outside mount blinds will be installed on the wall above the window, covering the window entirely.  Enter the size you want the finished product to be, including the desired overlap.  The ordered height will include the hardware for blinds and shades.  This option is required if your window is not deep enough to install the blind as an inside mount.

Bottom Up/Top Down for Woven Shades

Bottom Up/Top Down for Woven Shades

Standard cord lift with a cord lock mechanism for reliable and easy positioning of the shade.  Simply pull the cord to raise to the desired height, and the cord locks in place.  Pull the cord slightly to release and lower the shade.  Cord can be positioned on either side of the blind.

This option allows you to position your shade anywhere in the window, depending on your needs for privacy and light.  Lower your shade from the top with one cord on the left, and raise it from the bottom with the other cord on the right.  Not available with hobbled style fold.

A continuous cord loop and clutch assembly that provides the mechanical advantage needed to raise large shades.  Shades over 30 square feet will have a nickel-plated steel bead chain in place of the standard cord.  Comes standard with 9" valance, not available with Traditional Wood Valance.

Raise and lower the shade with an internal motor controlled with one of the available remote control options (at least one required per order).  Radio frequency remotes does not require line of site to operate.  Single-channel remotes control all shades at once, or 5-channel remotes control up to five separate shades or groups of shades independently.  Battery wands are prefilled with lithium batteries.  Battery wands are installed either above or beside the shade (for outside mounts) or behind (for inside mounts).

Motorized operation raises and lowers shades with no external lift cords.  Come with plug-in power adapter with 25' white cord.  Radio frequency wireless system operates shades within a 65-foot radius (no line of sight required) with your choice of remote control.  At least one control must be ordered to operate the shade; 1-Channel remotes operate all shades on that channel at once.  5-Channel remotes operate up to five separate shades or groups of shades.

Fabric lining provides privacy, a neutral appearance to the outside, and reduces light and UV transmission.  Graber liners are unique in that they cover the cords of the shade for a smooth appearance and a safer shade that limits access to the cords.  The Privacy Liner is an 80/20 poly/cotton blend and is colored front and back - please order Soft White if a non-colored appearance is required to the street.

Flat Roman

A classic style which hangs flat when lowered, and folds neatly and evenly into accordion folds when raised.  Shade material is affixed to the back of the headrail.

Popular roman shade design features soft, billowing loops of natural material to provide a more dimensional look.  Note: Hobbled style shades may create light gaps on the sides of the shade, even on inside mount shades; for maximum privacy and light control, consider the flat fold option.

Projection Brackets

Projection Brackets

Outside mount applications sometimes require the use of extension brackets.  These brackets allow for the clearance needed to accommodate obstructions that interfere with blind operation, such as door handles.

For blinds installed doors or windows that receive a lot of wind, we recommend ordering hold down brackets.  These brackets hold the fully-lowered blind in place by fastening into small holes in the bottom rail of the blind.  The shade can be raised by unfastening the blind from the bracket.  This type of bracket is designed for outside mount use only.

"Natural & elegant"

We now have four of these in a few sizes that have added some privacy and natural sophistication to our mater bedroom.  We have a large window setting that overlooks the natural wetlands in our Dutch colonial home in NYC.  Yes, it's true.  And our master both has a set of smaller casement windows in a bow setting.  We've tied them together with these shades.  These create a plantation spa-like feel that is a bit more stately than casual.  We love them.  One note of care: our older children do use the cords for top or bottom adjustment on occassion.  This is fine but the material is all natural and the edges can catch the cord a bit and fray if used carelessly.  This has not been an issue for us but if you have very active kida keep the cords away...for the their safety and the preservation of the blinds.  These were at a great a price but wish these were less costly.

"good blinds"

Purchased 5 motorized blinds.  I wanted good room darkening, and these definitely fill the bill.  Two motors didn't work initially, but the exchange was not painful, and all are working now.  The color was as the picture, and there were no suprises.  Blindsgalore filed the order in good time.  I plan on ordering again.
