Inside

Inside mount blinds will fit within the window casing for a clean, custom look.  Enter the actual size of your window casing, NOT the size of your old blind.  We will make the necessary deductions to make the blind fit properly.  Make sure your window meets the minimum inside mount specifications, or flush mount specifications if desired.

Outside mount blinds will be installed on the wall above the window, covering the window entirely.  Enter the size you want the finished product to be, including the desired overlap.  The ordered height will include the hardware for blinds and shades.  This option is required if your window is not deep enough to install the blind as an inside mount.

Choose the side of the blind on which the control cords for traversing the blind and rotating the vanes should be positioned.  Consider where the controls will be more easily accessible when the blind is installed; however, controls on the same side as the stack will be less noticeable.  Required when ordering blind with Backstacker option.

Backstacker - Right

Backstacker - Right

Vanes will gather or "stack" on the left side of the window when the blind is drawn open.

Vanes will gather or "stack" on the right side of the window when the blind is drawn open.

The blind will open from the middle and vanes will gather evenly on either end of the blind.

Choose the Backstacker option when you want a less obstructed view.  Backstacker blinds are pulled open from the back of the vane stack first, allowing them to stack more compactly at the window’s edge.  This option also eliminates bothersome swaying of vanes after opening or closing.  Left stacking means the blind will stack on the left hand side of the window when open.  Not available with wand control.

The Backstacker feature with split stacking, meaning the blind will be drawn from the center of the window and stack evenly on both the left and right hand sides when open.  Not available with wand control.

Ceiling brackets are required for inside mount installations, as the blind will be mounted to the inside top of the window casing.  For outside mount blinds, choose ceiling brackets only when the blind will actually be attached to the ceiling.

Wall mount brackets are for outside mount installations only and attach to the wall over the window or door (most common).

"Great Purchase"

I really do like the vertical blinds.  They are high quality at a reasonable price.  The only issue I have is that the wood look blind came with an ivory rod for the pullback.  I think it would look alot nicer if the pull back rod was the same color as the blinds.  We measured ourselves for the blinds and they fit perfect.  The website was very user friendly in stepping you through the measuring process.  Would and have already recommended them.  Thank you Blindsgalore.

"excellent but"

The blinds are excellent.  The design, quality, everything was first rate.  My only gripe was there were no instructions so I had to figure out the first one myself.  No big deal but took time.  After that, the others were a snap.

I ordered one set for one of the sliding doors in our office, and the results were amazing!  Very clean, professional AND functional.  I then ordered two more sets for the other doors with the same result.  Very easy to put up as well.  Just measure carefully and you'll be all set!
