Inside

Inside mount blinds will fit within the window casing for a clean, custom look.  Enter the actual size of your window casing, NOT the size of your old blind.  We will make the necessary deductions to make the blind fit properly.  Make sure your window meets the minimum inside mount specifications, or flush mount specifications if desired.

Outside mount blinds will be installed on the wall above the window, covering the window entirely.  Enter the size you want the finished product to be, including the desired overlap.  The ordered height will include the hardware for blinds and shades.  This option is required if your window is not deep enough to install the blind as an inside mount.

Choose the side of the blind on which the control cords for traversing the blind and rotating the vanes should be positioned.  Consider where the controls will be more easily accessible when the blind is installed; however, controls on the same side as the stack will be less noticeable.

Ceiling brackets are required for inside mount installations, as the blind will be mounted to the inside top of the window casing.  For outside mount blinds, choose ceiling brackets only when the blind will actually be attached to the ceiling.

Wall mount brackets are for outside mount installations only and attach to the wall over the window or door (most common).

Channel

The channel valance is the standard valance option for Perceptions shades and is color-coordinated to your fabric selection for a clean, modern look.

Valance size: 1 3/8"

This aluminum valance with coordinating fabric insert comes standard.  It measures 2 7/8" high and has 7" returns when ordered with an outside mount blind.

Valance size: 2"

This optional wood valance achieves the classic look of draperies and completely conceals the headrail and operating system while adding gorgeous architectural detail.  Complement any setting from contemporary to traditional with designer finials or coordinating end caps in five available finishes.  Available for outside mount only.  Finials require additional 7" clearance on each side; end caps require 1 1/2" on each side.

"Levelor Pereceptions"

Easy install, drape beautiful, a little tricket to attach the verticals so have another person help you...else have beer or wine on hand to ease the frustration.  Instead of installing the header, I made my own window cornice.  That was easy too...installed with 2 L brackets.
