Inside

Inside mount blinds will fit within the window casing for a clean, custom look.  Enter the actual size of your window casing, NOT the size of your old blind.  We will make the necessary deductions to make the blind fit properly.  Make sure your window meets the minimum inside mount specifications, or flush mount specifications if desired.

Outside mount blinds will be installed on the wall above the window, covering the window entirely.  Enter the size you want the finished product to be, including the desired overlap.  The ordered height will include the hardware for blinds and shades.  This option is required if your window is not deep enough to install the blind as an inside mount.

What are my lift options?
Motorized

Motorized

Standard cord lift with a cord lock mechanism for reliable and easy positioning of the shade.  Simply pull the cord to raise to the desired height, and the cord locks in place.  Pull the cord slightly to release and lower the shade.  Cord can be positioned on either side of the blind.

Enjoy having both light and privacy in one shade.  Use the left cord to lower your shade from the top to let in any amount of light while maintaining privacy at the bottom of the window.  When you want to fully open the shade, lower it completely from the top, or raise it from the bottom with the right cord.

A continuous cord loop and clutch assembly that provides the mechanical advantage needed to raise large shades.  Shades with the Comfortex Omni-Rise continuous cord lift system will have a white headrail with a 1" color coordinating strip inserted into the headrail to complement the fabric.

Battery-powered motorized operation raises and lowers shades.  Radio frequency wireless remote control operates shades within a 65-foot radius (no line of sight required).  1-Channel remote control operates multiple shades together.  5-Channel remote operates up to five seperate shades.  Remote required for motorized lift.  White headrail comes with color-coordinating strip.  Batteries included.

Cut energy loss by two-thirds with the ComforTrack™ Plus Sidetrack Insulation System that keeps warm air in and the cool air out with three unique features: sidetracks (in white) that seal the gap between the shade and window, a clear spring seal hidden between the shade and the sidetracks to help create an energy tight seal, and a discrete foam seal between the headrail and window frame.  Note: For proper operation, the widest width of the window cannot exceed the narrowest width by more than 1/4".

Extension Brackets

Extension Brackets

For certain windows or doors, extension brackets will be needed (outside mount only) to create room for obstructions like door handles and window crank hardware.  These brackets allow the blind to operate properly.

Hold down brackets are useful for shades that will be installed on doors or above windows that may be exposed to windy conditions.  When fully lowered, the blind fastens into small brackets that prevent movement and swaying.  The bottom rail includes small holes that snap into the bracket; the shade must be unfastened from the bracket in order to raise it.  Please order hold down brackets only if you need them for these types of outside mount applications.

Used to add a small amount of extra depth to the headrail when installing in order to avoid obstructions such as molding around a window.  Available for outside mount applications only.

"Motorized Blinds Make For A Great Alarm"

I live in a city high-rise and needed floor-to-ceiling window coverings to keep the bright city lights out so I went with these blackout shades and they definitely block out all of the light - they're great.  These seemed to be the only brand/model I could find that actually came in black or brown - all the rest seem to only sell light/pale colors.  I also didn't want to deal with cords, and since my windows were too tall for the push/pull cordless setup, I spent the extra coin for motorized shades.  That's turned out great - I have them set on a timer, so they go up to wake me up in the morning and automatically go down in the evening.

"Love blindsgalore"

The shades speak for themselves.  Stylish and keeps out what you want; sun, cold, light, etc.  I tried to get this same product three times from their competitor with no luck and no refund.  Blindsgalore got it right the first try.  Go figure as they both use the same factory; Blindsgalore must have better quality contol standards for the factory.  Customer Service is great.  On my second order one shade was the wrong color and they were very pleasant, appologetic and a new shade is on its way.  Love these guys..great prices and great service!!
