Inside

Inside mount blinds will fit within the window casing for a clean, custom look.  Enter the actual size of your window casing, NOT the size of your old blind.  We will make the necessary deductions to make the blind fit properly.  Make sure your window meets the minimum inside mount specifications, or flush mount specifications if desired.

Outside mount blinds will be installed on the wall above the window, covering the window entirely.  Enter the size you want the finished product to be, including the desired overlap.  The ordered height will include the hardware for blinds and shades.  This option is required if your window is not deep enough to install the blind as an inside mount.

What are my lift options?
Cordless

Cordless

Standard cord lift with a cord lock mechanism for reliable and easy positioning of the shade.  Simply pull the cord to raise to the desired height, and the cord locks in place.  Pull the cord slightly to release and lower the shade.  Cord can be positioned on either side of the blind.  Headrail and bottom rail will be fabric wrapped for a completely finished designer look.

A continuous cord loop and clutch assembly that provides the mechanical advantage needed to raise large shades.  Shades with the continuous cord lift system will have a white headrail with a 1" color coordinating strip inserted into the headrail to complement the shade.

For a safe alternative for children and pets, choose the cordless lift option to eliminate pull cords and easily and effortlessly raise and lower your shade with the handle attached to the bottom of the shade.  Shades with the Comfortex cordless lift system will have a white headrail with a 1" color coordinating strip inserted into the headrail to complement the fabric.

Enjoy having both light and privacy in one shade.  Use the left cord to lower your shade from the top to let in any amount of light while maintaining privacy at the bottom of the window.  When you want to fully open the shade, lower it completely from the top, or raise it from the bottom with the right cord.  Headrail and bottom rail will be fabric wrapped for a completely finished designer look.

Combines the effortless operation of the cordless lift system with the versatility of top down/bottom up operation for the ultimate in convenience, safety, and privacy and light control.  Cordless Top Down-Bottom Up shades utilize a magnet and striker plate on the middle rail to create a snap-tight closure when raising the middle rail up to the top rail to cover the window.  Shades with Cordless Top Down/Bottom Up will have a white headrail with a color-coordinated strip inserted into the headrail.

Battery-powered motorized operation raises and lowers shades.  Radio frequency wireless remote control operates shades within a 65-foot radius (no line of sight required).  The 5-Channel remote operates up to five seperate shades.  Remote required for motorized lift.  White headrail comes with color-coordinating strip.  Batteries included.

With this fabric wrapped option, the headrail and bottom rail will be color coordinated to the shade fabric as indicated in the lift option descriptions (some lift options will have fabric-wrapped headrail and bottom rail, others have a white headrail with fabric insert).

Give your shades an extra touch of style with a brushed nickel colored headrail and bottom rail.  Standard cord and top down/bottom up shades will have a metallic colored tassel and white cords.  Cordless, motorized and continuous cord loop shades will have a fabric insert (same as shade color) in the headrail; cord loop comes with coordinating tensioner and cord.

Headrail and bottom rail will be a oil rubbed bronze metallic with the same configurations described for the brushed nickel option.

Extension Brackets

Extension Brackets

For certain windows or doors, extension brackets will be needed (outside mount only) to create room for obstructions like door handles and window crank hardware.  These brackets allow the blind to operate properly.

Hold down brackets are useful for shades that will be installed on doors or above windows that may be exposed to windy conditions.  When fully lowered, the blind fastens into small brackets that prevent movement and swaying.  The bottom rail includes small holes that snap into the bracket; the shade must be unfastened from the bracket in order to raise it.  Please order hold down brackets only if you need them for these types of outside mount applications.

Used to add a small amount of extra depth to the headrail when installing in order to avoid obstructions such as molding around a window.  Available for outside mount applications only.

"Great motorized shade"

The Shade was as shown on the website, and matched our wall.  We got the motorized option with remote, and that works well.  The shade fit the window opening well.  The only problem I had was with the installation brackets, as others have mentioned.  The brackets install in the window opening, and you make sure they are level and in line with one another first.  The problem is the part of the bracket that grabs on to the lower part of the shade header rail won't fully engage the bottom of the header.  Broke my fingernail, and spent hours trying to get it clipped in.  Need better engineering on the mounting brackets.

"Good product"

I am very satisfied with this product.  It is well-constructed and was easy to install.  The dimensions were exactly what I specified.  It is easy to operate and looks great.  I love the way it filters light.  We installed it over a double door on our porch, which we use as a plant room.  It helps to minimize the cost of heating the porch by reducing airflow.  The product was delivered sooner than expected.
