All fabrics in the Sydney Collection are made from 100% woven PVC designed to block heat and harmful UV rays while allowing cooling breezes to pass through.  The Sydney series exterior outdoor shade offers an 90% ultra violet block with an 10% openness light factor.  The fabric is UV treated to retain fabric strength and prevent color fading.
Note: Ordered width will be the bracket to bracket measurement; no deduction is taken by the manufacturer.  For your shade to operate properly, the shade cloth may be up to 2 3/4" narrower than the width ordered.  Shades mounted inside a window casing will have light gaps on each side; to compensate, consider ordering an outside mounted shade.  See our measure and order guide for more information.

Inside

Inside

Inside mount blinds will fit within the window casing for a clean, custom look.  Enter the actual size of your window casing, NOT the size of your old blind.  We will make the necessary deductions to make the blind fit properly.  Make sure your window meets the minimum inside mount specifications, or flush mount specifications if desired.

Outside mount blinds will be installed on the wall above the window, covering the window entirely.  Enter the size you want the finished product to be, including the desired overlap.  The ordered height will include the hardware for blinds and shades.  This option is required if your window is not deep enough to install the blind as an inside mount.

Cord loop lift control easily positions shades at any desired height; chain remains the same length regardless of shade position.  Shade will be fabricated with cord approximately 80% of shade height unless otherwise specified.  Control position can be easily repositioned at any time.

Standard Roll

Standard Roll

Fabric rolls off the back of the shade (opposite of interior roller shades).  Fabric hangs closer to the wall or window, helping to minimize light seepage on the sides when installed directly over a window.

Fabric rolls off the front of the shade, covering the fabric roll (opposite of interior roller shades).  Fabric hangs further from the wall or window, helping to clear obstructions, but may cause light seepage on the sides when installed directly over a window.

Wall Mount

Wall Mount

Ceiling or "top" mount is typical for inside mount as well as some outside mount applications.  Shade will be assembled ready for mounting on a horizontal surface, such as the inside of a window casing, the bottom edge of a patio beam or other surface.  Brackets can be easily repositioned for wall mount at any time.
Note:for inside mount shades, be sure to order the narrowest width of the window; manufacturer will not take any deductions for inside mount shades.  For your shade to operate properly, the fabric will be up to 2 3/4" narrower than the ordered width in order to accomodate the mounting brackets and control hardware.

Wall mount is typical for outside mount applications.  Shade will be assembled ready for mounting on a vertical surface, such as the wall above a window, the side of a patio beam or other surface.  Brackets can be easily repositioned for ceiling mount at any time.
