A traditional favorite, roller shades get a modern makeover with fresh fabrics, unique features and the reliability you would expect from Good Housekeeping.  Backed by the Good Housekeeping Seal, these roller shades feature premium components, and cordless options for child safety.  The Crepe collection of Good Housekeeping roller shades offer a clean and contemporary style that will blend with and update any decor.  Made out of polyester with an acrylic backing, these shades are easy to maintain and care for.  The blackout fabric will block any incoming light, making these shades perfect for a bedroom or living room where extreme light control is desired.

Note: To operate properly, the fabric on your shade will be up to 1 1/2" narrower than the width ordered.  Light seepage on the sides of the shade is inherent to the design of roller shades.  To reduce light seepage, consider ordering the shade as an outside mount.  See our measure and order guide for more information.

Inside

Inside mount blinds will fit within the window casing for a clean, custom look.  Enter the actual size of your window casing, NOT the size of your old blind.  We will make the necessary deductions to make the blind fit properly.  Make sure your window meets the minimum inside mount specifications, or flush mount specifications if desired.

Outside mount blinds will be installed on the wall above the window, covering the window entirely.  Enter the size you want the finished product to be, including the desired overlap.  The ordered height will include the hardware for blinds and shades.  This option is required if your window is not deep enough to install the blind as an inside mount.

Clutch Cord Loop

Clutch Cord Loop

This reliable system raises and lowers the shade with a beaded chain that remains the same length no matter the position of the shade.  The clutch system allows you to raise even very large shades with minimal effort.  The cord tensioner must be properly attached to the wall to operate and to prevent a hazard from the hanging cord.

Go cord-free with this high quality lift system.  A gentle pull on the bottom rail and you can position the shade easily at any height.  This is a much improved system over the old out-of-control spring loaded shades of the old days - the premium spring mechanism gives you controlled and precision operation.  Top-mount only unless ordered with the cassette headrail.

Control your blinds wirelessly with a battery-power motor built into the roller.  Comes with a refillable battery wand that is installed on the wall or ceiling or can be clipped onto the optional cassette headrail.  Requires at least one remote control to operate.  The 5-channel radio-frequency remote has individual frequencies to control up to five separate shades and can operate all shades simultaneously.

Standard Roll

Fabric rolls off the front of the shade, hiding the fabric roll.  The fabric on a standard roll shade comes off the back of the roll, which exposes both the roll and the back of the fabric.  Reverse roll shades may offer less light control because the fabric hangs further from the window glass.

Fabric rolls off the back of the shade, allowing the fabric to hang closer to the window for optimal light control.  The back of the fabric will be visible on the roll unless ordered with the optional cassette headrail.

For proper blind operation, some windows will require the use of extension brackets (outside mount only) in order to clear obstructions such as door handles.

Used to add a small amount of extra depth to the headrail when installing in order to avoid obstructions such as molding around a window.  Available for outside mount applications only.

"Perfect for keeping the light out"

I was a little leery on purchasing roller blinds, figuring they would look "cheesy".  These are beautiful, quality and perfect to keep 100% of the light out.

"Good but noisey"

Ordered 6 of these roller blinds for the bedroom in our new house.  They are very well made and were relatively easy to install.  They unroll nice and flat (no curling along the sides), they look very nice, and the definitely are and quot;room darkening and quot;.  The biggest issue I have with them is that they are not and quot;spring loaded and quot; - like many rollers you may be used to.  Instead, they use a beaded pull cord to raise and lower them.  I like that because it makes them very adjustable.  I dislike that because the beads make the shades very noisy to raise and lower...as each bead clicks through its spot as you move the shade.  If these had a smoother/more silent pull then I would give them a and quot;5 and quot; across the board.  As it is, I give them a qualified and quot;4 and quot;.  If you need quite when you want to raise or lower them (as I do...I do not want to wake my spouse in the middle of the night), then you should figure that into your purchase.  But, overall, they are quite wonderful, look nice, and do the job they are meant to do.
