Inside

Inside mount blinds will fit within the window casing for a clean, custom look.  Enter the actual size of your window casing, NOT the size of your old blind.  We will make the necessary deductions to make the blind fit properly.  Make sure your window meets the minimum inside mount specifications, or flush mount specifications if desired.

Outside mount blinds will be installed on the wall above the window, covering the window entirely.  Enter the size you want the finished product to be, including the desired overlap.  The ordered height will include the hardware for blinds and shades.  This option is required if your window is not deep enough to install the blind as an inside mount.

Standard Cord

Standard Cord

Standard cord lift with a cord lock mechanism for reliable and easy positioning of the blind.  Simply pull the cord to raise to the desired height, and the cord locks in place.  Pull the cord slightly to release and lower the blind.  Cord can be positioned on either side of the blind.

Cord

Rotates the horizontal slats open or closed by pulling up or down on either tilt cord.  The cord tilt option provides a uniform appearance to blinds ordered with standard cord lift.

Rotates the horizontal slats open or closed by twisting the wand.  The wand tilt offers a more traditional look.

Battery-powered Radio Frequency motorized operation opens and closes the slats of the blind with the touch of a button.  One programmable remote control (required) operates multiple blinds.  Receiver can be positioned on either side of the headrail; blinds in the same room should have receivers on opposite sides for independent operation.

Instead of routing holes, routeless blinds feature notches on the backside of each slat.  This provides greater privacy and light control, along with a cleaner look and tighter slat closure.

The optional 3" Crescent Valance provides a contemporary, sleek and sophisticated appearance with a smooth, convex profile.

This elegant, high-profile valance is available on all Premium Wood blinds for a coordinating look, regardless of slat size.  Valances on outside mount blinds come with glued-on returns for a clean, aligned corner that does not need assembly.

Extension Brackets

Extension Brackets

Outside mount applications sometimes require the use of extension brackets.  These brackets allow for the clearance needed to accommodate obstructions that interfere with blind operation, such as door handles. 
If the blind also includes a valance, please note that the returns on the valance (the sides of the valance that cover the ends of the headrail) may be made longer because of the extension bracket.  Order extension brackets only if the extra clearance is needed, otherwise, the valance may fit improperly.

Hold down brackets are designed for outside mount shades that will be used on doors or in windy areas.  The fully-lowered shade attaches to the brackets using small holes in bottom rail.  To raise the shade, it must be unfastened from the bracket.  Hold downs are available only for outside mount shades.

Used to add a small amount of extra depth to the headrail when installing in order to avoid obstructions such as molding around a window.  Available for outside mount applications only.

"Outstanding"

Ordered a large width wooden blind and was amazed at the quality of the product.  Easy ordering, fast shipping and quality workmanship ranks a high five from this satisfied buyer.  My satisfaction was also passed on via a phone call to customer service.  Blindsgalore will certainly be my only choice for any future window treatment needs and I'd refer my friends and family to use Blindsgalore for their needs as well.  I would've spent more and gotten less from either of the two giant home improvement stores in my area and as a matter of fact, they were not able to provide me with the one and three eights inch wide slat blind that I wanted.  Thanks Blindsgalore JP

"Best Purchase Ever"

We bought two of these blinds; after we received the first one, we decided our picture window needed one as well.  The blinds are amazingly sturdy of seemingly quality material.  They fit the windows perfectly, were very easy to install and our only question was, "why did we wait so long?" We're so pleased with Blindsgalore for their ease of ordering, their manufacturing speed, and their faster than lightning delivery.
