Inside

Inside mount blinds will fit within the window casing for a clean, custom look.  Enter the actual size of your window casing, NOT the size of your old blind.  We will make the necessary deductions to make the blind fit properly.  Make sure your window meets the minimum inside mount specifications, or flush mount specifications if desired.

Outside mount blinds will be installed on the wall above the window, covering the window entirely.  Enter the size you want the finished product to be, including the desired overlap.  The ordered height will include the hardware for blinds and shades.  This option is required if your window is not deep enough to install the blind as an inside mount.

What are my lift options?
Standard Cord

Standard Cord

Standard cord lift with a cord lock mechanism for reliable and easy positioning of the blind.  Simply pull the cord to raise to the desired height, and the cord locks in place.  Pull the cord slightly to release and lower the blind.  Cord can be positioned on either side of the blind.  Blinds less than 12" net width will have a center tilt rod only and no lift operation.

Rotates the horizontal slats open or closed by pulling up or down on either tilt cord.  The cord tilt option provides a uniform appearance to blinds ordered with standard cord lift.

Wand Tilt adds at least 11/16" to the flush mount depth because the required valance clip is larger.

Long Extension Brackets

Long Extension Brackets

If your windows have obstructions like door handles that will interfere with the operation of your blind, you may need to order extension brackets (outside mount only).  These brackets will provide the extra space needed to clear the obstruction. 
If your blind has a valance, please note that the valance returns (the sides of the valance that cover the ends of the headrail) could be made longer because of the extension bracket.  Order extension brackets only if the extra space is needed, otherwise the valance may not properly fit.

To eliminate the swaying of blinds installed on doors or in windy locations, we recommend the use of hold down brackets.  These brackets snap into holes on the bottom rail of the blind when it is in the fully lowered position.  To raise the blind, it must be unfastened from the bracket.  Hold down brackets are available for outside mount use only.

Before my purchase I contacted Customer Service by email concerning some questions I had.  They replied the next day with very honest answers.  The blinds arrived several days sooner than the stated delivery date.  Installation was easy and quick.  I had a problem with one of the blinds lowering all the way but it worked itself out after several attempts.  Over all I am extremely satisfied and will be quick to recommend Blindsgalore to my friends.

These blinds were easy to hang and fit perfectly.  I spent the extra money for the routeless notches so the blinds will close tighter.  It was worth the extra money for the windows that get a lot of direct sunlight.  Great buy!
