Inside

Inside mount blinds will fit within the window casing for a clean, custom look.  Enter the actual size of your window casing, NOT the size of your old blind.  We will make the necessary deductions to make the blind fit properly.  Make sure your window meets the minimum inside mount specifications, or flush mount specifications if desired.

Outside mount blinds will be installed on the wall above the window, covering the window entirely.  Enter the size you want the finished product to be, including the desired overlap.  The ordered height will include the hardware for blinds and shades.  This option is required if your window is not deep enough to install the blind as an inside mount.

Standard Cord

Standard Cord

Standard cord lift with a cord lock mechanism for reliable and easy positioning of the blind.  Simply pull the cord to raise to the desired height, and the cord locks in place.  Pull the cord slightly to release and lower the blind.  Cord can be positioned on either side of the blind.  Blinds less than 12" net width will have a center tilt rod only and no lift operation.

Rotates the horizontal slats open or closed by pulling up or down on either tilt cord.  The cord tilt option provides a uniform appearance to blinds ordered with standard cord lift.

Long Extension Brackets

Long Extension Brackets

If your windows have obstructions like door handles that will interfere with the operation of your blind, you may need to order extension brackets (outside mount only).  These brackets will provide the extra space needed to clear the obstruction. 
If your blind has a valance, please note that the valance returns (the sides of the valance that cover the ends of the headrail) could be made longer because of the extension bracket.  Order extension brackets only if the extra space is needed, otherwise the valance may not properly fit.

To eliminate the swaying of blinds installed on doors or in windy locations, we recommend the use of hold down brackets.  These brackets snap into holes on the bottom rail of the blind when it is in the fully lowered position.  To raise the blind, it must be unfastened from the bracket.  Hold down brackets are available for outside mount use only.

My Husband and I love them! They really are very high quality, the best value around, and 2 1/2 inch blinds rock! They look so shutter-like, from the inside and out....We were struggling a little, alot really, when using the screws that came with them, so took a quick trip and purchased some flat-head drywall screws (an expert in the blinds department at the store suggested them) and wow, we were drilling skippy fast and done to enjoy! We just ordered more for the rest of the windows in our home, Yah!!! We self-measured, self-installed, hadn't ever done it before, and they look fantastic, so you can do it...save some coin! The instructions are kinda lacking, but no worries, just use your common sense with these, and/or someone else's too, or call the company...they're really customer-friendly.  (Order samples, they arrive in less than a week and we would have been out-o-luck on our color matching, if we hadn't of:)

"The Look Of Luxury"

These blinds exceeded my expectations.  The quality is exceptional and they are very easy to install.  I installed them over nearly window in the house and they look great both inside and out.  My only disappointment was they they could not be ordered narrow enough for 2 of my windows.  I ordered similar blinds from a competitor (with a company name similar to Blindsgalore) and by comparison was disappointed in the comparitive lack of quality (rough edges, slats that were loose).  I guess I was spoiled by the high quality of the Blindsgalore product.
