What are my mount options?
Inside

Inside

Inside mount blinds will fit within the window casing for a clean, custom look.  Enter the actual size of your window casing, NOT the size of your old blind.  We will make the necessary deductions to make the blind fit properly.  Make sure your window meets the minimum inside mount specifications, or flush mount specifications if desired.

Outside mount blinds will be installed on the wall above the window, covering the window entirely.  Enter the size you want the finished product to be, including the desired overlap.  The ordered height will include the hardware for blinds and shades.  This option is required if your window is not deep enough to install the blind as an inside mount.

Cordless for Wood Blinds

Cordless for Wood Blinds

Standard cord lift with a cord lock mechanism for reliable and easy positioning of the blind.  Simply pull the cord to raise to the desired height, and the cord locks in place.  Pull the cord slightly to release and lower the blind.  Cord can be positioned on either side of the blind.

This option eliminates the lift cord, allowing simple lifting of the blind by pushing or pulling the bottom rail.  This option provides additional safety for homes with children and pets.  Left Cord Tilt must be selected with Cordless Lift.  Not available with cloth tapes or routeless options.

Cord

Rotates the horizontal slats open or closed by pulling up or down on either tilt cord.  The cord tilt option provides a uniform appearance to blinds ordered with standard cord lift.

Rotates the horizontal slats open or closed by twisting the wand.  The wand tilt offers a more traditional look.

Battery-powered Radio Frequency motorized operation opens and closes the slats of the blind with the touch of a button.  One programmable remote control (required) operates multiple blinds.  Receiver can be positioned on either side of the headrail; blinds in the same room should have receivers on opposite sides for independent operation.

This elegant, high-profile valance is available on all Premium Wood blinds for a coordinating look, regardless of slat size.  Valances on outside mount blinds come with glued-on returns for a clean, aligned corner that does not need assembly.

Extension Brackets

Extension Brackets

Outside mount applications sometimes require the use of extension brackets.  These brackets allow for the clearance needed to accommodate obstructions that interfere with blind operation, such as door handles. 
If the blind also includes a valance, please note that the returns on the valance (the sides of the valance that cover the ends of the headrail) may be made longer because of the extension bracket.  Order extension brackets only if the extra clearance is needed, otherwise, the valance may fit improperly.

Hold down brackets are designed for outside mount shades that will be used on doors or in windy areas.  The fully-lowered shade attaches to the brackets using small holes in bottom rail.  To raise the shade, it must be unfastened from the bracket.  Hold downs are available only for outside mount shades.

Used to add a small amount of extra depth to the headrail when installing in order to avoid obstructions such as molding around a window.  Available for outside mount applications only.

These were easy to install and look great.  Everything fit and looks nice.  The samples helped us select the right color for each room.  Very conveneint when you dont live close to any major shopping.

"Not One Regret"

I was a little apprehensive ordering blinds from any website.  Receiving your samples gave me more confidence, so I ordered all for my 10 windows - it shows Kathy Ireland and Alta markings underneath the blinds.  Also, someone (too bad I didn't get her name) called to respond to my question about how/what to order for my wider window.  They all arrived sooner than expected.  However, one blind had a split on one end before installaltion.  And 3 months after, another blind had it's string (between the cloth tape) broke off one end.  On both occassions, Blindsgalore Customer Service immediately replaced both blinds.  WHAT A GREAT SERVICE! WE COULDN'T ASKED FOR MORE! MY KUDOS TO EVERYONE THERE.  I just wished a more rigid quality process could have been used during production.  The strings and it's tying process used on all these blinds are too weak for the strength of the bamboo forcing myself and the rest of my family to be extra/unusually careful raising/lowering them up/down (NOTE: For 23 years, we never had any problem with the old model blinds that they replaced - and they were abused when my kids were young!).  However, value and appearance are just absolutely excellent.  Overall, we are very satisfied with our purchase.
