Inside

Inside mount blinds will fit within the window casing for a clean, custom look.  Enter the actual size of your window casing, NOT the size of your old blind.  We will make the necessary deductions to make the blind fit properly.  Make sure your window meets the minimum inside mount specifications, or flush mount specifications if desired.

Outside mount blinds will be installed on the wall above the window, covering the window entirely.  Enter the size you want the finished product to be, including the desired overlap.  The ordered height will include the hardware for blinds and shades.  This option is required if your window is not deep enough to install the blind as an inside mount.

Bottom Up/Top Down

Standard cord lift with a cord lock mechanism for reliable and easy positioning of the blind.  Simply pull the cord to raise to the desired height, and the cord locks in place.  Pull the cord slightly to release and lower the blind.  Cord can be positioned on either side of the blind.

With this option, you don’t need to choose between privacy and light - you can have them both.  To let in light, use the left cord to lower the shade from the top, while keeping the bottom of the window covered.  When you want an unobstructed view, use the right cord to raise the shade as you would normally from the bottom.  Or, position the shade anywhere in the window by using both cords.  Not available with hobbled style fold.

A continuous cord loop and clutch assembly that provides the mechanical advantage needed to raise large shades.  Cord loop remains the same length, regardless of shade position.  Available color- stainless steel chain.

Fabric lining provides privacy, a neutral appearance to the outside, and reduces light and UV transmission.  This privacy liner is an ivory colored flocked fabric.

Slightly thicker and heavier, the blackout liner reduces light transmission by approximately 97%.  The blackout liner will be off white or taupe to color coordinate with the selected woven wood color and white on the side facing the street.

Roman Fold

A classic style which hangs flat when lowered, and folds neatly and evenly into accordion folds when raised.  Shade material is affixed to the back of the headrail.

Popular roman shade design features soft, billowing loops of natural material to provide a more dimensional look.  Note: Hobbled style shades may create light gaps on the sides of the shade, even on inside mount shades; for maximum privacy and light control, consider the flat fold option.

Projection Brackets

Outside mount applications sometimes require the use of extension brackets.  These brackets allow for the clearance needed to accommodate obstructions that interfere with blind operation, such as door handles.

For blinds installed doors or windows that receive a lot of wind, we recommend ordering hold down brackets.  These brackets hold the fully-lowered blind in place by fastening into small holes in the bottom rail of the blind.  The shade can be raised by unfastening the blind from the bracket.  This type of bracket is designed for outside mount use only.
