Newport Light Filtering roller shades gently filter light and add privacy while also providing a clean, modern look.  The Newport collection is composed of a fine woven fabric that is available in a variety of solid, base colors sure to match any existing interior design style.  Customize your Newport shade with a huge selection of mount, lift, roll style and valence return options.

Note: To ensure proper operation of your roller shade, the width of the fabric delivered to your door will be up to 1½" narrower than the actual ordered width, as light on both sides of the shade is essential to the design of roller shades.  To reduce light seepage, consider ordering the shade as an outside mount.

Inside

Inside mount blinds will fit within the window casing for a clean, custom look.  Enter the actual size of your window casing, NOT the size of your old blind.  We will make the necessary deductions to make the blind fit properly.  Make sure your window meets the minimum inside mount specifications, or flush mount specifications if desired.

Outside mount blinds will be installed on the wall above the window, covering the window entirely.  Enter the size you want the finished product to be, including the desired overlap.  The ordered height will include the hardware for blinds and shades.  This option is required if your window is not deep enough to install the blind as an inside mount.

Continuous Cord

Continuous Cord

A continuous cord loop and clutch assembly that provides the mechanical advantage needed to raise large shades.

Note: shades with a continuous cord will be made with the fabric approximately 1 3/8" narrower than the width ordered, creating a significant light gap on each side.  Better light control is available by selecting a spring roller and/or an outside mount shade, with standard roll (instead of reverse roll).

Roller provides convenient spring action to retract and lower shade.

Note: shades with a spring roller will be made with the fabric up to 1" narrower than the width ordered, creating a 1/2" light gap on each side.  For best light control, select an outside mount and/or standard roll (instead of reverse roll).

Standard Roll

Standard Roll

Fabric rolls off the front of the shade, hiding the fabric roll.  The fabric on a standard roll shade comes off the back of the roll, which exposes both the roll and the back of the fabric.  Reverse roll shades may offer less light control because the fabric hangs further from the window glass.

Fabric rolls off the back of the shade, allowing the fabric to hang closer to the window for optimal light control.  The back of the fabric will be visible on the roll.

"very happy"

Our blind arrived in a very timely manner for a large custom job.  It was amazing.  install was easy, instructions were clear, all the measurements were done great, it fits the large window we have perfectly.  The fabric feels like nothing more than a sheet of printer paper its so thin, but very durable and cuts out just the right light.  I got it on a super discount which is good, i think the regular price is a bit too high for the material and roller mechanism.  looking forward to many years of use

"83 inch dining room shade"

I have a large bay window, and I decided to get one large roller shade to minimize the sun exposure in my dining room.  It is wonderful.  You can still see out, it is easy to install, it is clean and simple, and rolls up and down easily.  Ready to order a second one for my kitchen bay window.  And so much cheaper than the people who came to my house and gave me a quote.

I ordered these shades in white for the whole house close to 30 windows and I am more than happy ! Very easy to install and they look great.  The only thing that i didn;t like too much is the cord that is a bit cheaply done.  But if I had to order everything again I would order the exact same thing !
