Inside

Inside mount blinds will fit within the window casing for a clean, custom look.  Enter the actual size of your window casing, NOT the size of your old blind.  We will make the necessary deductions to make the blind fit properly.  Make sure your window meets the minimum inside mount specifications, or flush mount specifications if desired.

Outside mount blinds will be installed on the wall above the window, covering the window entirely.  Enter the size you want the finished product to be, including the desired overlap.  The ordered height will include the hardware for blinds and shades.  This option is required if your window is not deep enough to install the blind as an inside mount.

Choose the side of the blind on which the control cords for traversing the blind and rotating the vanes should be positioned.  Consider where the controls will be more easily accessible when the blind is installed; however, controls on the same side as the stack will be less noticeable.

A single wand rotates the vanes open and closed and traverses the blind, eliminating dangling cords.  Wand will be positioned on the opposite side of the stack.

Ceiling brackets are required for inside mount installations, as the blind will be mounted to the inside top of the window casing.  For outside mount blinds, choose ceiling brackets only when the blind will actually be attached to the ceiling.

Wall mount brackets are for outside mount installations only and attach to the wall over the window or door (most common for standard installation).

The Square Corner valance provides a finished look to your blind by covering the headrail.  A matching vane is inserted into the front of the valance.  Outside mount blinds will have side returns on the valance.

The Executive valance offers a smoother, more streamlined look to your blind.  Available on outside mounted blinds only.  A matching vane is inserted into the front of the valance and wraps around the side of the valance.

Extension Brackets

Extension Brackets

Outside mount applications sometimes require the use of extension brackets.  These brackets allow for the clearance needed to accommodate obstructions that interfere with blind operation, such as door handles. 
If the blind also includes a valance, please note that the returns on the valance (the sides of the valance that cover the ends of the headrail) may be made longer because of the extension bracket.  Order extension brackets only if the extra clearance is needed, otherwise, the valance may fit improperly.

"Nice Blinds"

These verticals are very pretty and thick.  We did have one problem.  The rods arrived 5/8" too long and the vanes of the blinds are about 1/2" too long.  We had to have a contractor cut down the rod and the individual vanes.  Other than that, we are happy with them.

"Classy-looking Blinds"

I first bought one blind to cover a window whose blind had broken.  The new Blindgalore blind was so pretty I decided to redo the other living room windows as well.  They were made to order, fit wonderfully and were easy to install.  I did have to put the brackets in backwards on mine older (1940's) window frames to do the inside mount but they look great and the windows look so much better with this treatment.  I replaced horizontal miniblinds with these in my living room because I have had vertical blinds in my bedroom for years and found them to be versatile in how they open and much easier to keep clean than miniblinds.  They draw back like real curtains and when they are closed they also look more like cloth curtains, they can be angled to block the sunlight or to bring it in.  This particular blind is a textured blind and has a very classy look.
