Blindsgalore supports the Window Covering Safety Council (WCSC) in providing window treatments that meet the highest standards in cord safety to avoid any unwanted injuries or mishaps. The WCSC recommends that blinds and shades be equipped with a cordless option or for ease and extra protection. Blindsgalore recommends a motorized blind or shade for the utmost safety. If the location or large size of the window prevents a cordless selection, the WCSC approves a continuous cord loop. This option features a clutch-assisted lift with a looped cord that is anchored to the wall and remains the same length regardless of the position of the shade. Cordless window treatments are really the smart choice for all of your blinds and shades.
