Energy Efficient Shades, Blinds & Window Treatments
- Be kind to your pocketbook, lower bills
- Reduce energy needs
- Thermal picks maintain inside temps
- Absorb outside heat & cold
- Block UV rays, protect furnishings
Add energy efficiency to your home by choosing the right window coverings. An insulating window shade will quickly pay for itself by lowering your heating and cooling bills. Cellular shades are the best insulator with year-round efficiency, and shutters are also a great choice. Roman shades and custom drapery with thermal lining also provide good insulation. Remember that shades must be closed to provide insulation, so choose a fabric opacity that fits your lighting needs. Solar screen shades provide view-through and summertime efficiency but should be paired with another treatment for nighttime privacy and winter insulation.

"one of best things ever bought"
By Kathy from Clinton Twp
I can't begin to tell you how thrilled I am with my solar shade. My living room window faces south so I have sun pouring in the window all day.View this product

We ordered 13 motorized shades - not only was the price a fraction of our local dealer - they are excellent quality and exactly what we wanted. The only negative is the poor instructions for programming the Somfy remote controls. When there are 13 blinds in two rooms and two remotes - the instructions are poor. After a lot of time on the internet I finally had to call Somfy customer service - and they walked me through it- they were excellent and prompt.View this product
