Energy Efficient Shades, Blinds & Window Treatments

  • Be kind to your pocketbook, lower bills
  • Reduce energy needs
  • Thermal picks maintain inside temps
  • Absorb outside heat & cold
  • Block UV rays, protect furnishings

Add energy efficiency to your home by choosing the right window coverings. An insulating window shade will quickly pay for itself by lowering your heating and cooling bills. Cellular shades are the best insulator with year-round efficiency, and shutters are also a great choice. Roman shades and custom drapery with thermal lining also provide good insulation. Remember that shades must be closed to provide insulation, so choose a fabric opacity that fits your lighting needs. Solar screen shades provide view-through and summertime efficiency but should be paired with another treatment for nighttime privacy and winter insulation.

"Best products and service"

By Kim from Citrus Heights, CA.

This is the fifth window covering I have ordered through Blinds Galore this year. Not only has every window covering been high quality and perfect fit, the customer service is outstanding! I ordered two of these shades for my living and dining rooms. They look just as I imagined using the samples they send. I purchased cordless, which works great, very smooth up and down. This is the only place I will shop for window coverings now. I was worried having blinds shipped, but they do an outstanding job packing and I have not had any damage on my orders.

"Look good and function fantastic"

By from

The color and texture of the fabric is exactly what I was looking for.  They completely block the light from the street light outside.  And, the solar and heat deflection is awesome...  radical difference.
