Things To Remember

• Drapery panels are sold in pairs only
• Measure carefully using a steel tape measure to ensure accuracy
• All draperies have a built in fullness of 2 ¼ to 1
• All measurements will be rounded up to the nearest ½”

Decorative Hardware

• (Refer to illustration below)
• It is recommended to mount a decorative rod approximately 4” above (a) and at least 4”-6” (b) beyond each side of the window frame.
• If using clip rings to attach Rod Pocket or Parisian Pleats to a pole, note that clip rings will add approximately 2”- 4” of length. Therefore, subtract that extra length from the final length of the panel to be ordered.

Rod Pocket

Width:

• This measurement is the width of the window and surrounding wall area (c) you would like to cover.
• We recommend adding an additional 4”- 6” to each side from the edge of the window glass (d). This allows the drapery panels to clear the window to let more light in and prevents light gaps at edge of window.
• If the drapery is to be stationary (inoperable) for only decorative purposes, keep in mind that you won’t need measurements to cover the entire window, only include the total width you would like the panels to cover.

Length:

• Finished panel length is measured from the top of rod pocket (not including the header) to the bottom (e).
• The finished panel length you provide to the ½” will be the exact measurement the drapery panel will be made.
• Floor length panels should be ½” above the floor for easy operation.
• Special consideration should be given to the additional length gained by hanging the panels from decorative poles & rings.

Grommet

Width:

• This measurement is the width of the window and surrounding wall area (c) you would like to cover.
• We recommend adding an additional 4”- 6” to each side from the edge of the window glass (d). This allows the drapery panels to clear the window to let more light in and prevents light gaps at edge of window.
• If the drapery is to be decorative only and will remain stationary, keep in mind that you won’t need the width measurement to cover the entire window, only include the total width you would like the panels to cover.

Length:

• Finished panel length is measured from inside top edge of grommet to the bottom (e) (Inside grommet diameter is 1-½”).
• Floor length panels should be ½” above the floor for easy operation.

Pleated

Width:

• This measurement is the width of the window and surrounding wall area (c) you would like to cover.
• We recommend adding an additional 4”- 6” to each side from the edge of the window glass (d). This allows the drapery panels to clear the window to let more light in and prevents light gaps at edge of window.
• If the drapery is to be stationary (inoperable) for only decorative purposes, keep in mind that you won’t need measurements to cover the entire window, only include the total width you would like the panels to cover.
• If traversing hardware is chosen as an option, you may opt to add 8” to the overall width measurement (4” for each panel) to allow for side returns (the distance that the bracket will extend the rod from the wall). The last pin on the outer panel edge can be inserted into a hole provided on the traversing hardware return.

• Finished panel length is measured from the top of the drapery panel (including pleat) to the bottom (e).
• The finished panel length you provide to the ½” will be the exact measurement the drapery panel will be made.
• Floor length panels should be ½” above the floor for easy operation.
• Special consideration should be given to the additional length gained by hanging the panels from decorative poles & rings.
