Privacy Shades, Blinds & Window Treatments
- Opaque products to maintain privacy
- Routeless slats avoid light seepage
- Add a liner for increased opaqueness
- Layer coverings for light versatility
- Good for bed, bath & streetside rooms
Privacy blinds and shades are opaque, or non-transparent, enough to prevent view-through, even when backlit. Perfect for rooms facing the street or a neighbor, privacy shades or routeless blinds are perfect for keeping the inside of your home hidden. Some blind styles, such as woven woods, will require an added privacy liner to provide the extra opacity needed. We also recommend choosing a top down/bottom up lift option or layering your treatments, like a faux wood combined with drapery, to best balance your light control and privacy needs. While these products will block view-through, they will not necessarily block all light like our blackout shades.

customer reviews for privacy

I purchased these verticals for my mother's home. They arrived quickly and my husband put them up with ease in about 1-1/2 hours. They were bought for her double sliding patio doors; a 155" width. They look lovely and we are all happy about the purchase. I highly recommend this product.View this product
"Quality at a good price"
By Like verticals from Western NY
We ordered the fabric vertical blinds for our family room, including a sliding glass door. The fact that they are solid, with a fabric insert, was a major improvement over our old blinds, which were fabric weighted at the bottom. Much better, cleaner look, no more problems with the pets, much easier to operate, no putting the weights back on every other day. And they look great, too. All for a decent price. Heartily recommended. Instructions weren't the greatest, but were far from the worst. What didn't make sense, you could figure out. An easy do-it-yourself project.View this product
