These verticals are very pretty and thick. We did have one problem. The rods arrived 5/8" too long and the vanes of the blinds are about 1/2" too long. We had to have a contractor cut down the rod and the individual vanes. Other than that, we are happy with them.

I first bought one blind to cover a window whose blind had broken. The new Blindgalore blind was so pretty I decided to redo the other living room windows as well. They were made to order, fit wonderfully and were easy to install. I did have to put the brackets in backwards on mine older (1940's) window frames to do the inside mount but they look great and the windows look so much better with this treatment. I replaced horizontal miniblinds with these in my living room because I have had vertical blinds in my bedroom for years and found them to be versatile in how they open and much easier to keep clean than miniblinds. They draw back like real curtains and when they are closed they also look more like cloth curtains, they can be angled to block the sunlight or to bring it in. This particular blind is a textured blind and has a very classy look.
