I bought this for our front office door. In the winter the sun shines directly in and is blinding to the front receptionist. I'm hoping that this blind will help filter the sun so that she can still see who is coming to the door!

The sun blinds us every morning as we work in the kitchen. Short of wearing sun glasses, it is impossible to look out the big window that over looks a lake. This shade can be lowered to protect our eyes. When it is not needed, it hides beautifully behind a valance. I love it!!
