This was not my first order with Blindsgalore. I keep coming back for a reason. Their products are quality constructed...and...NUMBER 1 for me wherever I shop...excellent customer service. Somebody may the product, and even an excellent one, but if they don't have the service, I don't return there. This company hands out customer service in spades even when you screw up. So far, this has been the only case...I'm the one screwing my order up! As to the blinds, there were a perfect fit (after I finally got the measurement right on a very difficult out of square window). A word to those who haven't ordered the Premium, the finish on these is georgous but they are a lot heavier than the regular blindsgalore blinds. It takes some effort to pull them up on a 71 1/2" window and I'm wondering if I really shouldn't have ordered the two blinds on one headrail option. Just be aware they are heavier than the standard blinds and they do have a more wood finish appearance. I purchased the Seal Brown. This is a beautiful rich color (no black just a rich dark brown) that goes very well with my Wenge stained furniture that's also a dark brown. I ordered the cloth tapes in Chocolate for these hoping they would blend in but they are a bit more "brown black" and not quite what I would have chosen had sample for cloth tape been offered. If you're looking for a bit more privacy, and nicer finish than looking at all the ladders on your blinds when open, it's definitely worth the extra money to purchase the cloth tapes. Just remember they do allow for a bit less light and consider that when ordering along with the width of the tape itself. I chose 1 1/2" for this particular window because it's almost 6 feet wide, but on my order yesterday for 4 more blinds, I chose the 1" for 35" windows. Hopefully, the cocoa cloth tapes will blend a bit more than the chocolate did as my newest order was in the Seal Brown again. Love this stain. I've light Taupe walls with white trim and molding and this color is to die for against my walls. BG's right... you really will love your windows! If you've never ordered here before, do so. They were the first online company I ordered blinds from and naturally had some misgivings...which were put to rest from the start. I honestly don't shop anywhere else even though I look around at other sites. I guess because I've found quality with a name I've come to trust and for good reason. Every order is cut to size, extremely well constructed with quality hardware and the packaging of the product reflects the same. I have never received one blind that was damaged, miss cut or missing hardware. Excellent track record for the last 2 plus years IMHO.

We bought 2 shades for our sliding door that faces to the west. Love how you can see out the blind, but holds back the direct heat & brightness! Would buy this type of blind again!
