"Home Theater"

I am transforming our bonus level room into a home theater and purchased these blinds because of their stated ability to block out light. I was concerned that the width of each of the three windows in this room bowed out in the middle by 1/4 inch but the side tracks easly made up for this and block out the light beautifully. Even though I measured my windows 3 times before calling in the order, I still made a measuring mistake ordering the blinds two inches longer than needed. Thank goodness I ordered them long because I was able to easily cut off the excess two inches of the side tracks with a Dremmel tool and the blind still fits perfectly in the window casing. Installation is very easy except the quality of the instructions was not up to the quality of the blinds but they were decipherable.

These blinds are amazing for blocking out light. Easy to install. Depending on window framing you will have to install small amounts of weather striping to get the last tiny bits of light blocked out (Small amount included). The bottom of my window was not level and had a slight light streak I purchased some weather stripping and when blind is closed no light (Attached it to bottom of blind). If you need to block out light in your room for sleeping or home theater take a look at these. They are amazing at blocking light. I plan to purchase them again soon to start blocking more light out of my theater room.
