These blinds are just what they are explained to be they glide on a track easily overlap slightly and allow a light filtered view through. They darken the room slightly but it feels open b/c you can still see the backyard in my case.

Having a lack of storage space, used as a full length divider to build a 11' closet since a solid wall would not leave enough space for shelfing. Worked perfectly, looks great and can easly be taken down when selling our house.
