Door & French Door Window Treatments

Choosing a window covering for French doors can be complicated due to the shape of the door, the position of the door handles and your particular light control and privacy needs.  Here are a few suggestions of window treatments for your French doors that may suit your needs.

Since most French doors have decorative handles that could interfere with the operation of a blind or shade, you'll want to choose a window treatment that is not very deep, such as a 1" wood blind or a soft shade that can hang close against the door.  A roller shade with the standard roll option (instead of reverse roll) will allow the shade to hang flush against your French door.
