"Good but noisey"

Ordered 6 of these roller blinds for the bedroom in our new house. They are very well made and were relatively easy to install. They unroll nice and flat (no curling along the sides), they look very nice, and the definitely are and quot;room darkening and quot;. The biggest issue I have with them is that they are not and quot;spring loaded and quot; - like many rollers you may be used to. Instead, they use a beaded pull cord to raise and lower them. I like that because it makes them very adjustable. I dislike that because the beads make the shades very noisy to raise and lower...as each bead clicks through its spot as you move the shade. If these had a smoother/more silent pull then I would give them a and quot;5 and quot; across the board. As it is, I give them a qualified and quot;4 and quot;. If you need quite when you want to raise or lower them (as I do...I do not want to wake my spouse in the middle of the night), then you should figure that into your purchase. But, overall, they are quite wonderful, look nice, and do the job they are meant to do.

"Perfect for keeping the light out"

I was a little leery on purchasing roller blinds, figuring they would look "cheesy". These are beautiful, quality and perfect to keep 100% of the light out.
