Kitchen Window Shades

The kitchen is the hardest working room in your home, so you'll need durable kitchen window shades that can stand up to potential heat and moisture while still giving you the style and functionality you need.  Here are our ideas for kitchen shades.

As with any room, you'll need to consider what level of light control and privacy you'll need.  You'll also want shades for the kitchen that offer ventilation and that can stand up to the heat of your appliances.  If your windows are near a sink or preparation area, you probably need window shades that are easy to clean.

In addition to being easy to clean, window shades over sinks and counters should not have dangling cords.  Shades with cordless lift are a great choice to avoid a cluttered look and to keep cords out of the disposal.  Fabric shades on the other hand can provide vivid color choices.
