Levolor Vertical Blinds are available in a variety of materials and styles. Materials include Levolor's fabrics, embossed vinyl, and fabric laminate. Fabrics lay flat and feature small weights at the bottom to keep them hanging straight and even. Embossed vinyl offers the durability of vinyl with the additional sophistication of texture and patterns, and fabric laminate vertical blinds offer a blend of the look of fabric and the structure of vinyl.
Levolor vertical blinds are also available with S-shaped vanes. S-shaped vanes are curved in such a way that where each vane touches the next one, the vanes are parallel and overlapping, providing tighter closure and better light control.
Levolor vertical blind headrails are constructed of strong aluminum, anodized for additional durability and equipped with self-lubricating internal components. Vanes are attached to the 'vane stem', which Levolor makes out of high-strength Delrin, a tough, strong plastic that is very durable, make this headrail long-lasting and smooth to operate.
Vertical blinds are available with Levolor's exclusive BackStacker option that features easier opening of the blinds without noisy swaying, or AutoWand, which puts both the rotation control and open-close control into a single control wand for simplicity and clean looks.
Verticals Ideal for patio doors and large windows, the fashion-forward color and pattern selection will suit any decor.
Vane is the name of the main element of a vertical blind, the actual strip of material that blocks the light and moves. The component that is installed along the top of the blind is called the headrail.
