When considering natural woven shades<\/a>, it’s important to see the forest for the tree\u2013atments.<\/a> Natural shades are made of all sorts of different organic materials like bamboo, reeds, grasses, and more. These window coverings each have a unique texture that is impossible to duplicate and most are hand woven by skilled artisans. Since these shades are all natural, small gaps between each flat material are normal and help gently filter light for a unique, soft glow.<\/p>\n

While all of these natural shades are generally all referred to as “woven woods”, there are small differences between matchstick blinds, bamboo shades, and grass shades<\/a>. Matchstick blinds generally have incredibly thin slats, hence the name, and roll up instead of lifting in a stack like a normal blind.
