I recently received an email from a customer who was amazed at the selection of window treatments we provide. I thought I would share it with you here since it\u2019s so well written:<\/p>\n

\u201cUntil I started researching blinds and shades for my new house in North Carolina, I had no idea there was such a variety of window treatments. It\u2019s really overwhelming, especially since there is such a focus on home d\u00e9cor and design right now. When I did my homework on Blindsgalore, I ended up changing my mind about which blinds I was going to buy because of these 3 types I didn\u2019t even know about.<\/p>\n

  1. Panel track blinds<\/a>. I thought the only solution for sliding patio doors was vertical blinds or drapery. But then I stumbled upon these great panel track blinds that come in so many kinds of new and trendy fabrics, even solar fabrics that block the sun but also let you see outside. I can see the mountains from my kitchen slider in North Carolina, so that\u2019s really important.\u00a0 Some brands even have other kinds of blinds and shades (like roman shades and roller shades) in the same fabric, so you can make all your windows coordinate, no matter what size they are.<\/li>\n
  2. Insulating blinds<\/a>. I never heard of these. Basically they are a blind plus a shade all in one. They have tiltable slats like a regular horizontal blind and cells like a cellular shade, so you have the insulation factor when you want it, and the view when you want it. It\u2019s brilliant! So basically you don\u2019t have to choose between having slats OR having an insulating honeycomb shade, you can get them both, because the honeycomb cells can collapse and form slats like a blind. Wow, what will they think of next? These are perfect for the North Carolina weather which has a wide range of temperatures.<\/li>\n
  3. Routeless wood blinds<\/a>. (Faux wood, too). When I was looking to replace some old cheap vinyl horizontal blinds, I decided to get faux wood blinds because they were an affordable choice that also looked good and would match the other ones in the house. What I didn\u2019t know is that you can order them with a routeless option, which means that the little holes in all the slats are eliminated, so no light leaks though them. The slats are solid and they close tighter. This was the perfect blind for the guest rooms where I really wanted as much room darkening as I could get without having a solid fabric shade. Plus, they also have a cleaner look, which makes the whole room seem more peaceful.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
