Eco friendly blinds and shades are identified as especially "green" based on material content, recycling potential, and green certifications. Materials such as bamboo, reeds, jute, and real wood are sustainably harvested out of natural elements, reducing harm on the environment. Faux wood blinds are made from specially formulated recycled materials that can be recycled again when it's time to redecorate. EcoGreen shades use environmentally responsible fabrics that are PVC-free, 100% Recyclable, and LEED Certification Friendly, so they can be used as eco friendly window treatments in both residential and commercial settings. There are also earth friendly window treatments that provide energy saving features, such as insulating cellular shades.

"Amazing"

By Ivy from Austin,TX

These shades transformed our living room. We have skylights which are great when you want light but difficult when you do not. The room is in the center of the home with no windows so it makes sense - but was still difficult on hot summer sunny days. These blinds have not only provide excellent shade but reduced the heat in our living room considerably. We default to closed and open them to get in some light as needed. We love them and wish we had done this sooner. Easy to install (first one took longer to learn and figure out but second one was super easy and fast).

"Perfect Shade"

By leamm from Michigan

These shades are perfect for sliding glass doors. No light gets through and the material holds the heat in and seems to keep the cold out (Michigan). I haven't had them through the summer yet. We had some difficulty with installing. I thought the instructions for using the extenders were lacking - pictures are not always fully explanatory. Also, getting the cord in place was very difficult as there was NO give at the end to allow placement of the cord holders. It took about 2 hours to install, but is successfully in place and doing our sliding glass door justice. Thank you
