French Door Blinds & French Door Window Treatments
- Consider door shape and position of handles
- Pick shallow treatments that hang close to the door
- 1" wood blinds and roller shades are ideal
- Hold down brackets are good for regularly shut shades
- Choose cordless for a sleek look and easy control
French doors have decorative handles that could interfere with the operation of door blinds or shades, so you'll want to choose a window treatment that is not very deep with an outside mount. If you plan on regularly raising and lowering your shade, go cordless to avoid getting cords tangled up on the door handle while also increasing child and pet safety. If you plan on leaving the shade down, you should select the hold down brackets when customizing your blind. These are installed on the door to keep the bottom of the shade in place.

"Fantastic blinds AND customer service"
By Katie from 40205
Our kitchen was originally done in 1993 with roller blinds, and in the last few months we have been updating everything in the kitchen. I wanted to stick with roller blinds but wanted new or different colored ones, we went with White. I measured and submitted my order, but I was slightly confused about what measurements to put, so even though I had submitted my order already, I left feedback that I didn't feel the form was clear. I immediately got a reply from customer service who without asking was kind enough to put my order on hold and assisted me in making sure I had the correct measurements. Turns out I had measured slightly off so I was grateful for their assistance. The blinds came so quickly in the mail and they fit perfectly into the original brackets that we had mounted. So we didn't even have to go through the process of mounting all over again because the blinds were exactly the size we needed to fit into the old brackets. I am so happy with these blinds and my customer service experience. I recommend to everyone I know this website!View this product
"Wonderful company! "
By Jeff from Maine
I have gone through a few blind companies before settling on Blindsgalore. The others all had terrible customer service, or none at all. The way the people at Blindsgalore were able to help me was by far the reason I chose them over the others. Not only are the people working there wonderful and knowledgeable, the roller shades that I purchased for our school were even better than I expected. I'll do my best to make sure that in the future, our administration uses them for all future windows coverings.View this product
