Our factory will make the following adjustments:
For inside mount, the total shade width will be 3/16" less than the ordered width. The fabric deduction will be 3/8" less than the ordered width. Do not adjust your measurements based on the inside mount deductions. Doing so may result in your shade not fitting.
For outside mount, the shade will be ordered width. The fabric deduction will be 3/8" less than the order width.
The finished deduction may vary +/- 1/8"
The height of the product will be longer than ordered the length to allow pleats to hang freely and not sag, which is considered normal and will not affect the operation of your shade.
This is our second order of blinds from blindsgalore. The first time was for a set of 4 cordless cellular shades, that open from the top and bottom, and they look and work great as well as fitting perfectly. The second set was for bedroom light darkening blinds and they work great and really block the light as well. I really like the look of these much better than the older slatted style. We also went to a local blinds store, and was flabbergasted at the cost, so I went on a search that lead me to blindsgalore, thankfully! The process for measurement is right on the site and all blinds came in on the right size. I think blinds are expensive, but when I did some online comparison shopping blindsgalore, the others were just as expensive or more, and since my previous experience went well, I decided to purchase from them again. In the future when I need blinds, I will definitely use them again, and recommend them as well, and I'm pretty much done comparison shopping at this point because I know the process and the quality and service I'm receiving, and the pricing is at or below the others. read more
First time ordering cordless and I really like it. I ordered the room darkening, first time for that also, because I decided I didn't want anyone to see shadows through this window in kitchen door. The light filtering through in the morning was nice though, so be sure you truly want room darkening if ordering. It's very easy to push up for some light so I'm still happy we purchased this. read more
