About This Window Treatment

Blindsgalore skylight cellular shades are perfect for managing the light and heat entering your skylight windows. Skylight shades give you the superior UV protection and insulation of a cellular shade to maximize energy efficiency and coordinate with other windows in your room. Blackout fabric blocks 99% of light through the shade. The fabric is soft to the touch without the papery feel of some blackout cellular shades. Includes white aluminum side channels.

This blackout shade is fully opaque, providing privacy and light blockage
Blackout fabric is white to the street for neutral appearance
Window corners must be 90 degrees or shade will not install properly
2" of flat vertical space is required inside the skylight opening to properly install the shade.
Includes white aluminum side channels and color coordinating hardware
Inside mount recommended; brackets will be visible on outside mounts
Widths over 30" will have a center cord visible when the shade is open
Superior pleat retention and color uniformity
Opening must be square for installation

WHY DID I WAIT SO LONG?

WE’VE HAD A SKYLIGHT ABOVE OUR BED AT OUR CABIN FOR YEARS. THE LIGHT COMING THROUGH IN THE MORNINGS WAS WAKING BOTH US AND OUR DOGS. I STARTED LOOKING AROUND AND REALIZED THAT I COULD HAVE ADD A SHADE TO THE SKYLIGHT. I ORDERED THE BLINDSGALORE GALLERY SKYLIGHT CELLULAR SHADE (BLACKOUT) AND ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. IT IS EASY TO MOVE UP AND DOWN WITH THE POLE WE PURCHASED, IT BLOCKS OUT THE LIGHT AND IT LOOKS GREAT. I KEEP WONDERING WHY DID I WAIT SO LONG TO ORDER ONE?? We ordered two skylight black out blinds from Blindsgalore and are very pleased with their fit and appearance. They do a great job blocking the light and were easy to install. It takes a bit of time to get the order but it was well worth the wait. read more
