The biggest challenge with sidelight windows, the narrow windows often found on either side of a door, is finding an operating window blind that can be made small enough to fit.  The operating mechanism often limits the width at which many blinds can be manufactured, thus limiting your choices.  We've gathered this collection of sidelight window treatments that can be made narrow enough to fit most sidelight windows.

In most cases, you're probably just looking for a window treatment to add a little more privacy and light control to these windows, in which case a sheer shade or woven wood can do nicely.  If you need more privacy, an optional liner on a woven wood or a more opaque cellular shade is more suitable.
