The Double Cell Traditions shade from Blindsgalore is composed of a light-filtering fabric that provides a very soft, distinctive look.  The Double Cell Traditions shade is highly energy efficient and will prevent damaging UV rays from entering your home, saving you money on heat and air conditioning costs.  The Traditions collection will be white to the outside, and can be customized with a variety of upgrades, including multiple mount, size and lift options to choose from.

Inside

Inside mount blinds will fit within the window casing for a clean, custom look.  Enter the actual size of your window casing, NOT the size of your old blind.  We will make the necessary deductions to make the blind fit properly.  Make sure your window meets the minimum inside mount specifications, or flush mount specifications if desired.

Outside mount blinds will be installed on the wall above the window, covering the window entirely.  Enter the size you want the finished product to be, including the desired overlap.  The ordered height will include the hardware for blinds and shades.  This option is required if your window is not deep enough to install the blind as an inside mount.

Continuous Cord Loop

Continuous Cord Loop

Standard cord lift with a cord lock mechanism for reliable and easy positioning of the shade.  Simply pull the cord to raise to the desired height, and the cord locks in place.  Pull the cord slightly to release and lower the shade.  Cord can be positioned on either side of the blind.

A continuous cord loop and clutch assembly that provides the mechanical advantage needed to raise large shades.  Recommended for shades wider than 72".  Cord remains the same length no matter what position the shade is in.  Headrail is color-coordinated to the shade.

The advantage of this option is being able to raise your shade from the bottom, or lower it from the top when you want both light and privacy at the same time.  Choose just the right position of the shade, depending on your need for privacy.  Each shade has two independent cords, the left cord lowers it from the top, the right cord raises it from the bottom.  Extension lip on headrail eliminates any light gap when shade is raised to headrail.

The cordless lift option protects children and pets from getting tangled in the cords and provides an uncluttered look to your window.  Effortlessly raise and lower your shade with a gentle push or pull on the bottomrail.

Outside mount applications sometimes require the use of extension brackets.  These brackets allow for the clearance needed to accommodate obstructions that interfere with blind operation, such as door handles.

Hold down brackets are designed for outside mount shades that will be used on doors or in windy areas.  The fully-lowered shade attaches to the brackets using small holes in bottom rail.  To raise the shade, it must be unfastened from the bracket.  Hold downs are available only for outside mount shades.

"Great Product"

I ordered double cellular blinds for my kitchen and powder room.  I wanted translucent and corded.  They are great!  I really like the fabric.  It's heavier than other blinds I've had in the past and should work better in the winter.  Imagine my surpise when I saw the pull cord was already knotted so the blind hangs evenly when raised or lowered!  Used to take me forever to get them just right!  Thanks Blindsgalore!

"My third time ordering!"

I am more than pleased with my blinds.  I have ordered shades twice before.  Installation was easy for my husband and they look wonderful.  We have a fairly old house with mostly large old fashioned windows and the shades are the bottom up top down kind - they also help in hot or cold weather to keep out the sun or cold temperatures.  My house is nearly complete now with shades in most every room.  Since they are fairly pricey I need to wait for sales and only order a few at a time.
