Inside

Inside mount blinds will fit within the window casing for a clean, custom look.  Enter the actual size of your window casing, NOT the size of your old blind.  We will make the necessary deductions to make the blind fit properly.  Make sure your window meets the minimum inside mount specifications, or flush mount specifications if desired.

Outside mount blinds will be installed on the wall above the window, covering the window entirely.  Enter the size you want the finished product to be, including the desired overlap.  The ordered height will include the hardware for blinds and shades.  This option is required if your window is not deep enough to install the blind as an inside mount.

Hold-Down Brackets

Hold-Down Brackets

To eliminate the swaying of blinds installed on doors or in windy locations, we recommend the use of hold down brackets.  These brackets snap into holes on the bottom rail of the blind when it is in the fully lowered position.  To raise the blind, it must be unfastened from the bracket.  Hold down brackets are available for outside mount use only.

"It does the trick, but is only o.k."

The sheer blinds style is exactly what we wanted and looks great.  Contemporary window treatments for doors and sidelights (windows next to doors) are difficult to find.  What I don't like about this is that it seems to be cheap construction.  The product description says that the blinss open/close with a lever on top - I thought that meant an actual mechanism, but really it is just a piece of metal that you move up or down by hand to open or close.  I wonder if we should have just purchased the regular blinds that open and close and used the hold-down brackets instead.  This was expensive for the quality and lack of mechanism.  Be warned.
