We added a pavilion to our home and turned a window into a door going out to it. I actually ordered these because there was an existing door, directly across from the new one, that already one of these on it. It was important that the shades match. The company was very wonderful to work with. They followed up with me to ensure that I was provided with color swatches in order to get the correct color and that I ordered the correct size. They were very customer service oriented and never made me feel uncomfortable about any questions that I asked. The website did show conflicting information regarding the hardware choices, which the sales rep. I spoke with pointed out right away to his supervisor. The one that I already had was mounted with white hardware, which was no longer an option. I would have preferred to have them both the same, but the silver hardware was all that was available. Once mounted, it actually looks ok, but just isn't exactly what I would have preferred. Unlike the other review, I actually like the design with the tab at the top center of the blinds to open and close them. Since this is on a door, I don't have to worry about people or pets getting tangled up in cords or strings getting caught in doors. I think the design is actually perfect for doors and presents as a very clean and streamlined design. I think the fabric is very elegant looking. It allows light to come into the room, and it provides way more privacy than you would expect. I think the overall quality is excellent, particularly based on cheaper versions I have seen. Since I have some older ones that were already installed, I can tell you that they hold up very well and look no differently than the new one I just had installed. I was a little surprised at the cost, but when compared to other brands and styles that would have been of comparable quality, this was slightly less than the market average. I am very pleased with my purchase and would feel comfortable recommending them to anyone. I think you can purchase with confidence that they will make your room look very elegant, instead of ordinary, and the fabric and design will hold up well for a very long time.

I ordered these for my French doors and attempted to put them up, but the screws feel out and wouldn't stay in. I think the washer that held the screw in fell out of place. The quality of the fabric used is on the lower end. I have sheers up in the rest of the room and these looked too different. I couldn't bear to keep them up, so I exchanged them. Customer service was amazing in helping me.

The sheer blinds style is exactly what we wanted and looks great. Contemporary window treatments for doors and sidelights (windows next to doors) are difficult to find. What I don't like about this is that it seems to be cheap construction. The product description says that the blinss open/close with a lever on top - I thought that meant an actual mechanism, but really it is just a piece of metal that you move up or down by hand to open or close. I wonder if we should have just purchased the regular blinds that open and close and used the hold-down brackets instead. This was expensive for the quality and lack of mechanism. Be warned.
