step 3

Select a heading option:

What are my heading options?
French Pleat

French Pleat

Also known as a pinch pleat, this style is a traditional look for any room in the house.  Features handcrafted three finger pleats with a tack stitch 1 1/2" from bottom and a double turned heading stabilized with 4" buckrum for extra full pleats.  When ordering, select the pin option for your hardware needs - pinned for a traverse rod, pinned for a decorative rod, or no pins (pins can be adjusted as necessary for proper hanging).  Please review our drapery measure guide for complete measuring and ordering instructions.

Heading header: No Header

Also known as an inverted pinch pleat, this style takes a traditional look and gives it a modern twist.  Features handcrafted pleats with a tack stitch 1/2" from top and a double turned heading stabilized with 4" buckrum for extra full pleats.  When ordering, select the pin option for your hardware needs - pinned for a traverse rod, pinned for a decorative rod, or no pins (pins can be adjusted for proper hanging).  Please review our drapery measure guide for complete measuring and ordering instructions.

Heading header: No Header

The rod pocket style provides simple elegance and can be ordered with or without a header (also known as a flange).  If you select a header, you will need to include 3" in your ordered length.  you will also need to account for the rod take up by adding an allowance to your length and indicate the size of the rod you will be using when ordering.  Please review our drapery measure guide for complete measuring and ordering instructions.

Heading return: No Return

This style provides a contemporary and casual look to your decor.  Metal grommets are sewn into the drapery to create a unique look.  Grommets have a 1 9/16" opening and are best suited for 1" rods.  Although they will fit a 1 3/8" rod, they will be difficult to move.  Grommets are set down 1/2" from the top of the drapery with a single turned heading.  Please review our drapery measure guide for complete measuring and ordering instructions.

step 4

Select a panel option:

What are my panel options?
Pair

Pair

This configuration has two panels that meet at the center of the rod to cover a single window, opening to either side for a traditional look.  There will be returns on the outer sides of the panels to help cover the brackets and provide additional privacy and light control.

Drapery can be ordered as a single panel designed to travel from one end of the rod to the other.  Please specify on which side you would like your drapery to open - a drapery panel with left orientation will open to the left and have a return on the left side only.  Single panels are typically used for smaller windows, or on windows where there is only room for the drapery to stack on one side of the window.

step 5

Select a liner option:

What are my liner options?
No liner

No liner

The basic lining is recommended in most situations, particularly for silk fabrics and any drapery that will be exposed to the sun.  Lining helps protect the fabric from sun damage and fraying while creating a consistent appearance from the outside and producing better hanging qualities.

Liner color:
Ivory
White

Blackout lining provides additional room darkening.  Some light penetration will still occur at the top and outside edges of the drapery.  Not recommended for very lightweight fabrics or light colored fabrics.  Some dark marks and small pin holes of light may show where the draperies are stitched.  Blackout lining will not hold soft folds like basic lining since the blackout material is somewhat stiff; this may relax somewhat as the drapery hangs.

Interlining is a soft brushed flannel fabric that provides extra body and added protection from sun fading and is highly recommended for silk fabrics.  The 5 oz.  interlining is placed between the basic lining and the face fabric.

No pleat and hem upgrade

No pleat and hem upgrade

Available with French Pleat and Inverted Pleat styles only, this option works best with draperies over 90" in length to keep the proportion of the pleats and hem in scale with the longer drapery.
