Camo Style, Home Style, Too!

Camo Style, Home Style, Too!

Fashions for Fall are all about the ’80s and camo, the classic army print is popping up everywhere. To my surprise, I never thought those faded, multi-colored camoflage cargo pants would make another entrance, but this pattern has been refashioned and renewed and on trend again. Even though this design was created as a disguise, its graphic nature is eye-catching, yet casual and you can mix and match, from sporty to sophisticated, from bohemian to uptown.

Camo complements our Fall sensibilities as our mood turns to the mottled and dusty hues of fallen leaves, the graying of days, the flapping of wings as birds take flight through the orange haze of a harvest moon. The woods beckon and our hearts beat stronger as we don this military-inspired design, proudly proclaiming this style.

Why not consider the camouflage print on your windows and in your home? Yeah, I know you saw this coming! How could I not suggest this emblematic design? Your windows are fashion-ready too and camo is a fun and imaginative way to display this singular but expressive style.

Camoflage, of course, is popular for boys and sometimes you just have to embrace the “GI Joe” theme and indulge the dreams of your little guys. The camo print is ubiquitous on wallpaper, bedspreads, sheets, rugs and curtains and valances. You can surround his room in a camo jungle of designs or simplify the look against my favorite white wood blinds.
