Bali Bluetooth solar shades help manage glare and reduce temperatures while allowing home automation and robust integration.

- Bali solar shades offer a wide range of openness factors available in a great selection of colors. In general, the higher the openness and darker the fabric, the clearer the view.
- Available with fabric covered cassette valances or premium hardwood cornices for a finished look.
- All Bali solar shade materials offered are certified with the GREENGUARD Indoor Air Quality Certified® Fabrics certification.
Materials
- Solar textiles vary in composition based on style, most consist of blends containing one or more of the following: polyester, polypropylene, vinyl, PVC or PET recycled polyester.
- All fabric materials will block harmful UV rays
- The amount of UV ray blockage is inverse of the fabrics openness factor, for example, a material with 5% openness blocks 95% of UV rays.
- The lighter the fabric color, the better the temperature control.
- For optimal glare control, a darker fabric color and outside mount is recommended. Inside mount shades will have a light gap on each side.
- Solar shades do not offer nighttime privacy; lighted interiors allow inward visibility. If privacy is desired, a secondary treatment would be necessary.
- All mounting hardware included.
Control Options
- Upgrade to Bali Bluetooth Smart Shades for ultimate convenience. Bali App available on Android and iOS.
- Lift and lower your shades with the touch of a button on your remote or the tap of a screen on your mobile device.
- Pair your shades with the Bali App to control your shades from anywhere in your home. Operates up to 30 feet away.
- Add a Bali Gateway hub to integrate your shades with Amazon Alexa and Google Home smart home systems. Gateway hub allows you to control you shades from anywhere in the world through the Bali App.
- Remote control is not required to operate Bali Bluetooth shades but can be added on for an additional control option.
- Choose to power your motorized shades with either a rechargeable external battery pack or 12V DC Plug-In Transformer.
- The rechargeable external battery pack comes separately from the shade and should be mounted in the window frame with the included mounting clip.
- Note: Rechargeable battery pack ship at 30% charge and must be fully charged prior to installation.
- 12V DC Plug-In Transformer needs to be plugged into an outlet. Standard power cord is 72" long. 96" extension cord is available.
- Note: Plug-In dimension: 3 1/4" W x 2" D x 1 1/2" H
Cleaning
Solar shade fabrics are virtually maintenance free. Periodic dusting or gentle vacuuming with an upholstery attachment will maintain a like-new appearance for these shades.
How We Calculate Your Custom Fit
Give us your exact window opening size (for inside mounts) or the total area you want to cover (for outside mounts). Our factory handles all the math to make sure your shades fit and move smoothly.
Inside Mount Factory Deductions
(These are for your information; no math is required on your part!)
- Headrail: 3/8" narrower than the width you order
- Fabric Width: Up to 1-5/8" narrower than the width you order with 1-1/4" deduction on the control end
- Height: Produced at the exact height you order
Outside Mount Factory Deductions
- Headrail: Produced at the exact width you order
- Fabric Width: Up to 1-3/8" narrower than the width you order with 1" deduction on the control end
- Height: Produced at the exact height you order
Note: Finished measurements may vary by approximately 1/8"
Will This Window Treatment Fit My Window?
Our window treatments are custom-crafted to fit a wide variety of spaces. If your window dimensions fall within the ranges listed below, you’re already halfway there! Next, we'll help you check your mounting space, which may vary depending on the style you choose.
Inside Mount Installation
Your window opening needs a minimum depth to hold the brackets. If your opening is deep enough, you can achieve a flush mount look where the treatment sits entirely inside the opening. Note: If your depth is between the minimum and flush requirements, your treatment will install securely but may stick out slightly from the window opening.
Outside Mount Installation
This installs on the wall or trim above your window. It’s ideal for total light control or your windows are too shallow for an inside mount. Ensure you have enough flat surface space to install the mounting brackets.
