Bali solar screen sliding panels are the perfect solution for large windows or sliding doors and can help manage glare and reduce temperatures.

Materials

Bali solar materials offer a wide range of openness factors available in a great selection of colors. In general, the higher the openness and darker the fabric, the clearer the view.
Solar textiles vary in composition based on style, most consist of blends containing one or more of the following: polyester, polypropylene, vinyl, PVC or PET recycled polyester.
All fabric materials will block harmful UV rays
The amount of UV ray blockage is inverse of the fabrics openness factor, for example, a material with 5% openness blocks 95% of UV rays.
Solar shades do not offer nighttime privacy; lighted interiors allow inward visibility. If privacy is desired, a secondary treatment would be necessary.
The lighter the fabric color, the better the temperature control.
All mounting hardware included.

Control Options

Cord Control provides a reliable and easy operation of the shade. Simply pull the cord to traverse the panels across the track. Cord remains at the same length, regardless of panel position.
Wand Control allows you to manually pull the panels to your desired location on the track. Simply grab the wand to traverse the panels across the track. Split stack configuration will have a wand on each leading panel.

Cleaning

Solar shade fabrics are virtually maintenance free. Periodic dusting or gentle vacuuming with an upholstery attachment will maintain a like-new appearance for these shades.

Our factory will make the following adjustments:

For inside mount: the total shade width will be 3/16″ less than the ordered width. Depending on control type, the fabric deduction will be 3/8″ to 1″ per side. Do not adjust your measurements based on the inside mount deductions. Doing so may result in your shade not fitting.
For outside mount: the shade will be the ordered width. Depending on control type, the fabric deduction will be 3/8″ to 1″ per side.

LOVE these panels!

These panels are SO nice! We live in warm climate and have a slider where the sun really blasts in around 4-5 PM daily. The panels are amazing at keeping the heat out! I actually kept standing next to them because I couldn't believe it. They look super sleek and we have gotten a lot of complements on them. We got the grey color (I forget the name), and we are very happy, especially considering they were of the less expensive options. As for privacy, you can't see in at all from outside during the day, but at night when our lights are on, you can see silhouettes and a blur of what is inside, so not the best option if you want TOTAL privacy. You might consider layering to get total privacy at night. They were VERY difficult to hang though... that was the down side. Hubby is quite handy but it took him a while to get the head rail hung. We actually want another set of these for our other slider. Customer service was OUTSTANDING. I accidentally ordered with a cord rather than a wand, which I didn't want due to having little ones and safety. They immediately sent a new head rail, which I didn't even ask for! Shipping was fast on all accounts, and we are in Hawaii, so I was impressed with that. Pricing was about $50-75 cheaper than Lowes. read more

Didnt want traditional vertical blinds..

I did not want the 'old school' PVC with the fabric glued to the front, chained at the bottom, clanky/typical vertical blinds. I gave these are try and we absolutely love them!!! They are for my sliding glass door and the block out the light but you can still see through them. Perfect sums it up. read more
