- Hardware & Brackets: Includes color-coordinated installation brackets and center supports for heavy-duty stability on wider windows (up to 144" wide).
- Outside Mount Hold-Down Brackets: Optional stabilizers for French doors and wind-exposed windows to prevent swaying.
- Light Control Options: Standard route (70-80% blockage) or Lightmaster privacy route (80-90% blockage) for enhanced privacy and light blocking.

Give us your exact window opening size (for inside mounts) or the total area you want to cover (for outside mounts). Our factory handles all the calculations to ensure your real wood blinds fit perfectly and operate smoothly.
Inside Mount Factory Deductions
(These are for your information; no math is required on your part!)
- Headrail: 1/2" narrower than the width you order
- Blind Width: 1/2" narrower than the width you order
- Valance: 1/8" narrower than the width you order
- Height: Produced at the exact height you order
Outside Mount Factory Deductions
- Headrail: 1/2" narrower than the width you order

Levolor real wood blinds are custom-crafted to fit virtually any window size. If your dimensions fall within the ranges listed below, you’re ready to go! We’ll also help you determine the best mounting option based on your window depth and space.
Stacking When Raised
The amount of space your wood blinds take up when fully raised varies by slat size and blind height:
- 2" Real Wood Slats: Stack 4½" to 10¾" depending on blind height
- 2½" Real Wood Slats: Stack 4¼" to 9" depending on blind height
Inside Mount Installation
Your window opening needs sufficient depth to accommodate the brackets and allow smooth operation. This mounting option creates a sleek, integrated look with the blinds sitting inside the window frame.
- Best For: Windows with adequate depth and modern, contemporary décor
- Note: If your depth is between the minimum and flush mount requirements, your hardwood blinds will install securely but may protrude slightly from the window opening.
Outside Mount Installation
This option installs on the wall or trim above and around your window. It’s ideal for maximum light control, shallow windows, or when you want the blinds to cover a larger area.
- Best For: Windows with limited depth, maximum light blocking, or covering adjacent wall space
- Installation Surface: Requires flat mounting surface on wall or trim
- Coverage: Can extend beyond window opening for complete light control
