Stacking When Raised
The amount of space your NuWood faux wood blinds take up when fully raised varies by slat size and blind height:
- 2" Faux Wood Slats: Stack 3¾" to 10¾" depending on blind height
- 2½" Faux Wood Slats: Stack 4¼" to 9" depending on blind height
Note: Faux wood blinds stack more compactly than real wood, providing better light access when raised.
Inside Mount Installation
Your window opening needs sufficient depth to accommodate the brackets and allow smooth operation. This mounting option creates a sleek, integrated look with the blinds sitting entirely inside the window frame.
- Best For: Windows with adequate depth and modern, contemporary décor
- Light Control: Inside mounts provide excellent privacy and light control
- Note: If your depth is between the minimum and ideal requirements, your faux wood blinds will install securely but may protrude slightly from the window opening.
Outside Mount Installation
This option installs on the wall or trim above and around your window. It’s ideal for maximum light control, shallow windows, moisture-prone areas, or when you want the blinds to cover a larger area.
