About This Window Treatment

Tailored Cornice Board Valance features clean lines with an emphasis on simplicity. This valance is equally at home in traditional or contemporary settings, bringing softness to windows while hiding the hardware components of blinds and shades. Create your valance in one of our solid color fabrics, or add some pattern to your decor with Subtle Stripe, Classic Stripe or Country Club fabrics. Our fabric cornice boards are hand-made on an all-wood frame and include upholstery fabric fill, self cording for a finished look, and a matching dust cap cover. Tailored valances are 16" in drop length.

Note: Measure exact width of window and round to the nearest ½”. Allow an additional 2” to compensate for cornice sides.

Width 48" and above will have vertical seams
Upholstery fiber fill and decorative fabric are supported by an all wood frame
Matching dust cap cover is included
Drop length 16"
Cornice boards are made to width ordered to the nearest 1/2"; to have the cornice fit snugly around the window frame, be sure to add 2" to your window casing measurement
Made with 1/2" self cording along bottom edge
Diamond patterns will not have self-welt.
Consider adding an additional 1-6" to each side when paired with treatments such as drapery or blinds and shades
This window treatment is produced in Mexico, which may cause a delay on orders with one or two day shipping.

I ordered 3 sets of valences and it took a little more time to arrive but they were perfect and just as I had imagined. Blindsgalore was the only one who carried a varied set of colors, pattern and fabrics for these custom valences. read more

Just had my new cornices installed. Sorry the pictures are dark, but they are beautiful! The entire process was super easy, from fabric selection to measuring instructions to ordering.
