How it Operates
Customize your shades with the lift system that best suits your home, ranging from child-safe manual designs to fully automated smart home solutions.
- Hidden Continuous Cord Loop:
- A great option for larger shades. Features a durable nylon beaded chain for smooth operation.
- The cord loop is positioned neatly behind the fabric for inside mount and in front of the fabric for outside mount.
- Tip: The required tensioner must be mounted to the wall or window sill to operate.
- Cordless:
- Completely manually operated by tugging the bottom of the shade. Includes a clear handle for easy adjustment.
- Tip: Make sure you can comfortably reach both the top and bottom of the window.
- Motorized Wand:
- Rechargeable in-tube motor with easy wand control (12"–60" wand based on shade height).
- No remote needed; one charger is included per order. Positioned behind the fabric for inside mount and in front for outside mount.
- Note: Cannot be paired with remote or smart home systems.
- Remote Motorization:
- Upgrade to full convenience with an ultra-quiet 50dB motor. Powered by an integrated rechargeable lithium-ion battery (6–8 months between charges).
- Plug the charger (one included per order) into the headrail and any standard outlet. Available with 1-channel or 6-channel remotes.
- Smart Home Integration:
- Upgrade motorization with the P2 Powermate Smart Hub for app and voice control via the free P2 Powermate app (iOS & Android).

Materials & Construction
- Fabric Width & Seams: Our premium fabrics feature a 54" standard width. Shades over 48" wide will have discreet vertical seams to maintain structural integrity.
- Hardware & Headrails:
- Loop and Motorized: Features a premium fabric-wrapped wood headrail. Inside mounts are pre-drilled; outside mounts include metal L-brackets.
- Cordless: Uses a PVC headrail with adjustable Velcro fabric attachment and snap-in metal brackets.
- Shade Styles:
- Plain Fold (Most Popular): Structured pleats every 6" for neat stacking and a timeless look. The bottom pleat will vary depending on height between 3" to 9".<
- Flat Fold: A tailored style without pleats (rods may be visible when backlit).
- Soft Fold: Elegant cascading folds hobbled at 6" intervals for a drapery-inspired design. The bottom pleat will vary depending on height between 3" to 9".
- Lining and Accent Options:
- Standard Light Filtering: 70% poly/30% cotton blend; diffuses light and protects fabric (Available in white or ivory).
- Premium Blackout: 3-pass foam backing blocks 100% of sunlight. (Available in white only).
- Decorative Accent: Optional 2-inch wide ribbon banding available for a decorative finish. Choose from edge or inset.
- Back Valance: Features a 6" back valance to hide the hardware from showing to street side. Color will match your selected liner.
- Important Notes: Fabric colors may vary slightly between dye lots; we recommend ordering all coverings for the same room at once. Cording is visible on the street side, and slight wrinkling may occur if shades are left raised for extended periods.

How We Calculate Your Custom Fit
Give us your exact window opening size (for inside mounts) or the total area you want to cover (for outside mounts). Our factory handles all the math to make sure your shades fit and move smoothly.
Inside Mount Factory Deductions
(These are for your information; no math is required on your part!)
- Headrail: 1/4" narrower than the width you order
- Valance: 1/4" narrower than the width you order with no returns
- Fabric Width: 1/4" narrower than the width you order for cord loop and motorized or 3/8" for cordless
- Height: Produced at the exact height you order
Outside Mount Factory Deductions
- Headrail: Produced at the exact width you order
- Valance: 1/2" wider than ordered width, includes 2" returns for cordless and 2-1/4" or 3-1/4" (sizes greater than 58" x 58") returns for cord loop, motorized wand and motorized remote.
- Fabric Width: Produced at the exact width you order for cordless; 5/8" narrower for cord loop and motorized

Inside Mount Installation
Your window opening needs a minimum depth to hold the brackets. If your opening is deep enough, you can achieve a flush mount look where the treatment sits entirely inside the opening. Note: If your depth is between the minimum and flush requirements, your treatment will install securely but may stick out slightly from the window opening.
Outside Mount Installation
This installs on the wall or trim above your window. It’s ideal for total light control or your windows are too shallow for an inside mount. Ensure you have enough flat surface space to install the mounting brackets.
