Materials & Construction
- Fabric options: Cotton, polyester, linen blends, viscose, rayon, and faux silk
- Fabric width: 54" (shades over 48" wide will have vertical seams)
- Fabric Lining: attached light filtering, thermal light filtering or blackout liners in white or ivory
- Headrails:
- Cord Loop, Motorized Wand & Remote Motorized: fabric-wrapped wood headrail
- Cordless: PVC headrail, fabric will be secured to headrail with adjustable velcro attachment
- Valance: Only outside mount motorized shades includes a 6" height valance with returns (excludes outside mount cordless)
- Hardware:
- Cord Loop, Motorized Wand & Remote Motorized: Inside mount shades come pre-drilled and include mounting screws. Outside mount shades include metal L-brackets with screws and are not pre-drilled
- Cordless: snap-in metal brackets with mounting screws
- Design Tip: Fabric colors may vary slightly between dye lots. For the best color consistency, we recommend ordering all coverings for the same room at the same time
- Note: Cording is visible on the streetside; shades may show slight wrinkling if left raised for extended periods
Shade Styles
- Flat Fold: Simple, tailored style without pleats. Tack stitches and inner rods may be visible when backlit. Recommended to “set” pleats by keeping shade raised for several days after install
- Plain Fold (Most Popular): Classic Roman style with structured pleats every 6". Neat stacking, minimal dressing, and timeless appeal
- European Fold: Relaxed, casual style with upward fabric swoop when raised. Outside mount only. Decorative, not intended for frequent use
- Soft Fold: Cascading folds created by fabric hobbled to lining at 6" intervals. Elegant drapery-inspired design
- Design Tip: Bottom pleats range from 3?–9? based on shade height. Pleat size may vary between shades; for consistency, shades need to be the same height
Lining Options
- Standard Light Filtering: 70% polyester/30% cotton, neutral white or ivory, protects fabric and diffuses light
- Thermal Sateen: 100% polyester, smooth finish with foam backing for added insulation and UV protection
- Premium Blackout: 100% polyester, 3-pass foam backing, blocks 100% of sunlight, white only. (Some pinhole light seepage possible with Plain Fold style)
- Decorative Accent: Optional 2-inch wide ribbon banding on bottom and vertical edges
Control Options
Hidden Continuous Cord Loop
- Great option for large shades
- Durable nylon beaded chain with must mount tensioner for smooth operation
- The cord loop is positioned neatly behind the fabric for inside mount and in front of the fabric for outside mount
- Tip: tensioner must be mounted to wall or window sill to operate
Cordless
- Lift or lower manually by tugging the bottom of the shade
- Includes a clear handle that attached to the bottom of the shade
- Tip: make sure you can reach the top and bottom of the window
Motorized Wand
- Rechargeable in-tube motor with easy wand control (12"–60" wand based on shade height)
- No remote needed, one charger included per order
- The wand is positioned neatly behind the fabric for inside mount and in front of the fabric for outside mount
- Note: Cannot be paired with remote or smart home systems
Remote Motorization
- Upgrade to full convenience with an ultra quiet 50dB motor
- Powered by integrated rechargeable lithium-ion battery (6–8 month between charges)

Note: Fabric Roman shades may show slight wrinkles after installation. Minor creases typically relax within a few days, but you can speed up the process with a garment steamer or by gently ironing—taking care not to touch the fabric directly
