Of course I have a passion for discovering any and all ideas about windows and all the different unique ways that you can cover them to give that certain panache to your home; but these brilliant beach days here in Southern California are beckoning me and the kids outside and I have to share with you my favorite summer recipe (not what you think)! You know me, before I can spread out my beach patchwork quilt, break out the picnic basket, unload the boogie boards and the buckets of toys, I have to set up our beach pop-up shade.
With my shade obsession, don’t even think of calling them “tents.” In my family, our sun beach shade sets up easily and quickly and we can have a long and luxurious day at the ocean- no harsh sun rays or glare or sunburns, just a cool breeze, lazy waves, sandcastles and sandwiches.
Beach sun shades make me just as happy as all of my favorite traditional blinds and shades that I am always raving about to you and how to use them on your windows.
It is fun to change up your view. Now is the time, as the days of summer are really coming to an end, to fill up your picnic basket, pick out a beach shade that matches your style and go for a sun fun day. You might even be able to conjure up the image of “Lawrence of Arabia.” Isn’t this romantic!
