Privacy blinds and shades are opaque, or non-transparent, enough to prevent view-through, even when backlit. Perfect for rooms facing the street or a neighbor, privacy shades or routeless blinds are perfect for keeping the inside of your home hidden. Some blind styles, such as woven woods, will require an added privacy liner to provide the extra opacity needed. We also recommend choosing a top down/bottom up lift option or layering your treatments, like a faux wood combined with drapery, to best balance your light control and privacy needs. While these products will block view-through, they will not necessarily block all light like our blackout shades.

"Pop in blackout for the bedroom"

By TJ from USA

The Shades went in so fast and easy. Just what I wanted for our basement bedroom windows. They are clean and stylish for all our room colors. They black out the light for sleep and allow the woodwork to still be enjoyed.

"Great Item"

By from

I love my pop in shades. The first one was for a large window in my shower, it was light filtering and works GREAT! The smaller one is also used in my bathroom, it’s in a regular small window. I like it as well, but didn’t mean to order room darkening, had much rather have had light filtering. When pulled down it makes the room much too dark. I leave it pretty much up all the way so that you can’t tell it’s a lot darker than the other one because of the dark lining. They are a Great Item, I love the fact that you don’t have to drill holes in your tile or window frame.
