Materials & Construction
Our shades are crafted from premium fabrics and high-quality components to ensure a seamless fit and long-lasting beauty.
- Headrail:
- Loop and Motorized: Features a premium fabric-wrapped wood headrail. Inside mounts are pre-drilled; outside mounts include metal L-brackets.
- Cordless: Uses a PVC headrail with adjustable Velcro fabric attachment and snap-in metal brackets.
- Shade Styles:
- Plain Fold: Structured pleats every 6" for neat stacking and a timeless look. The bottom two pleats will vary depending on height between 3" to 6".
- Flat Fold: A tailored style without pleats (rods are wrapped in liner on exterior side and may be visible in the interior when backlit).
- Soft Fold: Elegant cascading folds hobbled at 6" intervals for a drapery-inspired design. The bottom two pleats will vary depending on height between 3" to 6".
- Lining and Accent Options:
- Standard Light Filtering(Sewn-In): 70% poly/30% cotton blend; diffuses light and protects fabric (Available in white or ivory).
- Premium Sewn Blackout(Sewn-In): 3-pass foam backing blocks 100% of sunlight. (Available in white only).
- For both liners, cording is visible on the street side
- Decorative Accent: Optional 2-inch wide ribbon banding available for a decorative finish. Choose from edge or inset.
- Fabric Position:
- Inside Mount: Fabric will fall off front of the headrail. A 4" back valance will hide the hardware from showing to the exterior. Color will match your selected liner.
- Outside Mount: Fabric will fall off back of the headrail. A 6" front valance will hide the hardware. Color will match your selected fabric.
- Fabric Width & Seams:
- Shades over 48" wide will have two discreet vertical seams that are pattern matched
- To keep it looking balanced, we use a "Wide-Center" layout: one large panel in the middle and seamed with two smaller, equal-sized panels on the ends.
- Exact Fabric Composition: Grouped by matching fiber content. Refer to your style below:

How it Operates
Customize your shades with the lift system that best suits your home, ranging from child-safe manual designs to fully automated smart home solutions.
- Cord Loop:
- A great option for larger shades. Features a durable beaded chain for smooth operation.
- The cord loop is positioned neatly behind the fabric for inside mount and in front of the fabric for outside mount.
- Install Note: The required tensioner must be mounted to the wall or window sill to operate.
- Cordless:
- Operate by tugging the bottom of the shade. Includes a clear handle for easy adjustment.
- Design Tip: Make sure you can comfortably reach both the top and bottom of the window.
- Motorized Wand:
- Rechargeable in-tube motor with easy wand control (12"–60" wand based on shade height).
- No remote needed; one charger is included per order. Positioned behind the fabric for inside mount and in front for outside mount.
- Note: Cannot be paired with remote or smart home systems.
- Remote Motorization:
- Upgrade to full convenience with an ultra-quiet 50dB motor. Powered by an integrated rechargeable lithium-ion battery (6–8 months between charges).
- Plug the charger (one included per order) into the headrail and any standard outlet. Available with 1-channel or 6-channel remotes.
- Smart Home Integration:
- Upgrade motorization with the P2 Powermate Smart Hub for app and voice control via the free P2 Powermate app (iOS & Android).
- Create schedules and monitor battery status from your phone; compatible with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Siri.
