Blackout Blinds & Shades for Room Darkening
- Best choice for complete darkness
- Blocks 99% of incoming light
- Great for bedrooms and home theaters
- Tight-fitting inside mounts block the most light
- Many styles to darken your space
Blackout shades and blinds block nearly all incoming light with cellular shade, roman shade, roller shade, woven wood, pleated shade, panel track and skylight choices. Although sometimes called Blackout Blinds, a light blocking blackout effect is best achieved with shades, as they block the most light with a tight-fitting inside-mounted opaque shade. Blackout Shades eliminate maximum light seepage with specially woven material or with the addition of a liner to create a darker space than the subtler Room Darkening Shades. Custom blackout blinds provide the darkest blackout experience available.

customer reviews for blackout
"Great product and value"
By ker92 from Ventura, CA
I recently purchased the Boutique Natural shades in Cane Macadamia. The color and quality of these shades are perfect. We debated whether or not to splurge on blackout liners in the bedrooms, and are glad we did. They block out light extremely well. The blinds arrived wrapped and labeled for each room and window, which made it very easy for us to install ourselves. Also, the customer service at Blinds Galore was excellent. I spoke with Rochelle, who was such a helpful and knowledgable representative. My only complaint is that it's a little difficult to get to the pull cord behind the shade for the cordless inside-mount setup. I think I would have ordered them just slightly shorter than recommended so I could reach my fingers under the shade without having to grab on the outside material outwards first to get to the pull.View this product
"Happy with installed shade."

Installation instructions need adjustment. attaching brackets following measurements printed did not allow for the construction of shade. Brackets had to be removed and reinstalled to precipitate snapping in shade.View this product
